Pokemon: Destiny in Darkness (An original stand alone story)

Chapter 7: Now where?

After restoring the assigned camp, and making a safe way to the Central Camp every group comes and settles there. At night the main leader gathers them for a meeting.

MAIN LEADER: "So Comrades! We have seen some significant deeds in restoring these camps back. My forces are on the way to settle in this area and making sure we dont lose this again!"

ASH: "So what's our next step?"

MAIN LEADER: "We would go to the camps near to the other side of the Galar island. Some of the small groups today were assigned to clear them off and they reporter high intensities of creatures. This does give us one hint that there might be the sources where these creatures are made. Our job is to find them and remove them completely from the island."

LEADER1: "Even if we complete terminate the light sources that wont kill these creatures right?"

MAIN LEADER: "True. Even though they would become weaker, but that wont stop them from causing harm. Its the best to kill them before they can even hit anyone."

LEADER2: "So would we get any hints whenever we get near a source?"

MAIN LEADER: "I am not much sure but whenever you are near a source, first is there would be many creatures surrounding it. It looks like a ball of darkness and light inside it. Once the light gets out, that would weaken the creatures whoever are within a good distance around it."

ASH: "That kinda gives a clue but renders you clueless at the same time. But it is something we would have to figure out when we find it."

MAIN LEADER: "Also let me give you a tip, the source is not something that takes time to be formed. If you destroy one and dont kill the creatures quickly, it wont take time for them to create another one. I am sure that there are at least hundreds of sources scattered. "

LEADER2: "So what should we do?"

MAIN LEADER: "This is why you all would be scattered to even smaller groups. Your task would be searching for sources and destroying them. Kill the creatures too."

LEADER3: "I have a feeling it wont be that easy."

MAIN LEADER: "Dont worry, I would give each of them one walkie talkie. I would be getting your voice messages as you speak. So whenever you are done, share the coordinates with me. Those are mentioned on the map."

The next day comes and the members are scattered, in even smaller groups searching for hundreds of the sources due to which these creatures thrive. With Ash and Nate who are in one group-

ASH: "I didnt think the leader and co leader would be in the same group."

NATE: "Well our objective is common, and confidently that everyone is suited enough to destroy the sources alone."

ASH: "Lets keep our aim in destroying sources until we see either a bigger group of these creatures or some more people."

NATE: "This region is pretty huge. And we are going towards the other diagonal of the region. So by the time we reach the coast where I assume the bigger source is, we would see many other groups."

ASH: "So what we are headed to destroy if there's an even bigger source?"

NATE: "Well let me explain this in simple terms. You build an airport to connect between distant regions."

ASH: "Yes."

NATE: "Can you use airport to travel within the same region if the size is of, lets say Galar?"

ASH: "Its not that big.."

NATE: "These sources are like other modes of vehicle."

ASH: "So they are in continuous need of the source?"
