Pokemon: Destiny in Darkness (An original stand alone story)

Chapter 8: Towering Missions

After a massive victory at the Galar region, the force members were informed that for the next month, they would be involved in setting up the towers and the Central Hall at the Galar region. The reason for this is to make communications and transporting a bit easier between Kanto and Galar, and also to strengthen The Rescue Force. This one month was also to recover the number of forces or maybe to increase because of the casualties that occurred. The members are also in search of a new commander so meanwhile the projects are underway at the Galar region, the Central Hall Members at the Kanto region are busy too. For a point the daily routine was like: Wake up, help in the building of the towers and Central Hall, sleep. This went on for a month and after a month, the towers looked good for regular use. Meanwhile the central hall's rooms were almost complete and within half a month it would be ready for use as well.

Lets have a look at Ash and Nate who agreed to ask about the next objectives after a month. They are in search of the main co leader and soon they find him.

MAIN CO LEADER: " Oh hey Ash and Nate, if I am not wrong. How are you guys doing?"

NATE: "Doing the same stuff repeatedly for a month."

MAIN CO LEADER: "Haha, true. The work is going on time and the stuffs we planned are doing well."

ASH: "Actually we had a question for some time..."

MAIN CO LEADER: "Go ahead."

NATE: "Ever since you announced that we would be spending at least a month trying to settle at the Galar region, we both always wondered what would be our next goal. Like what's going to be the next region we would have to travel, and where's the main problem."

MAIN CO LEADER: (Thinks for a while) "Hmm, you have got some interesting questions. Here let me take you somewhere."

The co leader takes Ash and Nate to a secret room. It was full of equipment scattered around, and most of them looked like they are used frequently. The co leader brings out a giant map which had all the regions covered. There was a set of small maps beside it which were labelled as: "Kanto" "Sinnoh" "Galar" "Unova" and more. They were small maps of the individual regions.

MAIN CO LEADER: "So this is the map of all the 7 regions from Kanto to Galar. Since Kanto is nearby to Galar, its going to be easier for us to stabilise the connections, and that's what we are currently doing."

ASH: "Okay, getting it so far."

MAIN CO LEADER: "Now the next nearby region for us is Hoenn, which is the more affected place. Not only we need to have more number of forces, but also we need to have better equipments. Our goal now is going to be restoring Hoenn, even though we dont have any idea about the situation there. The next coming days are going to be the planning ones for Hoenn."

ASH: "So this Eternal Source we destroyed in the Galar region is not the only Eternal Source?"

MAIN CO LEADER: "Precisely. There are more than one Eternal Source and hundreds of smaller sources scattered across the regions"

NATE: "But unlike Galar, which actually had people living in some parts, the next regions wont have any people inhabited."

MAIN CO LEADER: "Hard to say, I am confident that people would be living in shelters or probably closer to the shores, but that's what would be our next aim. We would have to find out the ongoings in the Hoenn and then the main aim should be to free Hoenn from the creatures."

ASH: "Okay then, so we need to wait for another two weeks before we can make any move?"

MAIN CO LEADER: "Yes! We tried our best to rush the Central Hall Project, but since we werent able to complete it in one month, we would start the rest of the projects so that you know much time is saved. The construction pace wont be changed though, and keep lending a hand like you did everyday."
