Playdate with Fate (A Chris & Keith AU)

'Tis the Season to Slay

===TIME SKIP===

It was December of that year. Each class in the high school came up with a theme for their Christmas party before their semestral break. Keith's class chose to do a costume party, while Ashly and Chris' class decided on a smart casual theme.

On the day of the party, Keith arrived to school dressed to imitate Christian Siriano, the winner of Project Runway's fourth season. While he walked to the classroom that their class was allowed to conduct their party in, Keith noticed that many students were staring at him. Keith thought to himself, "People keep looking at me as if they just realized now that black looks good with white pants."

Keith entered the classroom where his class was at a few more minutes of walking later.

As he arrived, he immediately went inside. Once he realized that half of the class already arrived, all of his classmates suddenly looked over towards him. One of Keith's classmates, a short Black girl named Brianna, said, "What a costume, Keith!"

Keith turned his head sideways towards Brianna's direction and pointed at her.

Another classmate, a White girl named Maycie, whose height was just below Keith's chest, said further, "Someone's been watching tons of Snatch Game episodes from RuPaul's Drag Race, I suppose?" Keith smiled and exclaimed, "Yes, exactly!"

Maycie laughed.

All of a sudden, an Asian guy from his class named Justin asked him, "So, who are you supposed to be?" Keith smiled, nodded, and replied, "If you watch Project Runway, I'm dressed up like a winner from that show. His style's kinda straightforward."

Keith's classmates that knew about Project Runway started thinking of who Keith could have dressed up as, while the rest of them stayed silent.

A few minutes later, a Latino guy from the class named Pablo suddenly blurted out, "I might be taking a shot in the dark with my guess here, but... is it that short-ass dude who often wore black?" As Keith nodded, he further said, "Yeah, he did win his season. His name is... um..." Pablo snapped his fingers a couple of times before exclaiming, "I know now! Christian Siriano!" Keith replied, "Yes, it is!"

Pablo turned his head sideways towards Keith's direction and pointed at him.

He moved his finger up and down afterwards and said, "This... is iconic." As Keith laughed softly, he went to find a seat. When everyone from the class arrived, the party began. The class started playing party games for an hour and a half afterwards.

When everyone felt hungry, the class ate food from a potluck where each student was asked to contribute to.

Once each student felt full, everyone stopped eating. The leftovers were taken home by students who wanted to bring something for their families later in the night. As the class was ready to get things moving again a few minutes later, the class president awarded certificates according to each student's personality that they and the other officers of the class have observed since the semester began.

Keith received the awards "Mr. Congeniality" and "Strongest Personality of the Year".

Afterwards, the class exchanged gifts. Keith received a Cards Against Humanity deck alongside a Blue Box, and a Red Box. When the last student from Keith's class received their gift, the teacher supervising the class thanked them for their discipline.

The party from Keith's class ended shortly afterwards.

Everyone was then instructed to pick up trash that they created throughout the party. After Keith finished cleaning up the trash he created, he left the classroom. Soon enough, Chris saw him and what he was wearing and quickly approached him.

Keith waved at Chris as he saw him walking up towards him.

Chris then said, "Look at this fashion icon! What a bold choice to wear white pants with a black top, honey." Keith replied, "Oh, you know me, sweetie. I'm a major risk-taker with my fashion sense." Chris and Keith smiled, looked at, and pointed to each other afterwards. Then, Chris asked shortly after that, "How'd you not stain such a colored pant with any of the food that your class ate at this party?"

Chris and Keith laughed.

When the laughter died down, Keith asked, "Where's Ashly? Did she come to your class party?" Chris nodded and replied, "Oh, honey, let me show you." So, Chris held Keith's hand and walked him to where Ashly was after their class party ended.

After finding Ashly, Chris and Keith tapped on her shoulders.

Ashly got startled, turned around, and said, "Oh, my God, you guys! Don't be scaring someone like that!" Chris and Keith laughed. Ashly noticed Keith's outfit and said, "Girl, you look like you're about to walk in LA Fashion Week with this outfit!"

Keith smiled.

Ashly then asked, "So, what'd you get for your Christmas gift?" Keith replied, "Now that you've asked..." Keith proceeded to bring out the Cards Against Humanity decks he received. Chris exclaimed, "That's such a cool gift! Let's play sometime!"

Ashly, Chris, and Keith took photos of each other shortly afterwards. Then, the three of them filmed videos walking like each of them were on a fashion show.
