===TIME SKIP===

The following school year, every student prepared for college admission. Chris and Keith applied to the University of California in Los Angeles, while Ashly applied for a student exchange program in some university located in South Korea.

A few weeks after submitting application requirements, Chris and Keith got a letter through their e-mails. That day, which was a Saturday, Keith was in his bedroom, sitting on his bed. He was browsing Facebook from his Macbook beforehand.

When he received the e-mail about his college admission result, Keith breathed out slowly.

Keith thought to himself, "I feel like I'm about to find out if World of Wonder cast me on some season of RuPaul's Drag Race or some shit. Or if, like, someone I know suddenly nominated me as a hero on Queer Eye without me having any idea."

He calmed himself down before opening the e-mail.

As soon as he felt calm, Keith finally clicked on the e-mail. He gasped loudly when he read that he qualified for his bachelor's degree in acting. Keith quickly ran out of his room and rushed downstairs to try finding his brothers and parents.

Keith's family was confused as to why he wanted all of them to come upstairs to his room.

Once they eventually agreed, Keith, along with his parents and brothers, entered his room. Keith turned his Macbook around and showed the e-mail of him being accepted by the University of California in Los Angeles, everyone cheered loudly.

Keith's parents expressed how proud they are of Keith shortly after.

A few hours pass, and Keith's family left his room. Keith started crying in relief shortly after that. When he stopped crying, he heard dings from his Macbook, and eventually found out that extended family members soon started congratulating him through Messenger. Keith wiped his tears and thought to himself, "This is my happiest moment in life. I don't think anything could top this euphoria."

Meanwhile, at Chris' house, he was eating lunch at the dining room.

While browsing through his phone, Chris received an e-mail about his admission results to the University of California in Los Angeles. All of a sudden, Chris felt nervous. He thought to himself, "I don't know if I should read this while I'm eating."

So, Chris decided to finish eating his lunch first before opening the e-mail.

Once Chris approached his living room, he opened his phone. Afterwards, he tapped the e-mail as he was about to sit on a nearby couch. All of a sudden, Chris dropped his phone to the ground. He squatted down and started crying after that.

Chris found out that he also qualified for his bachelor's degree in film directing.

He cried to himself for a few minutes in happiness. Chris stood up when his heels started aching from squatting down. Then, he said to himself, "I can't believe that I'm finally going to make my dream of studying at such a university come true!"

From too much excitement, Chris started blaring music loudly from the speakers that his TV uses to give audio to whatever was being watched in the device.

Keith's family heard it from across the street. Keith's mother suddenly asked, "Where could that music be coming from?" One of Keith's elder brothers further added, "Aren't they afraid of someone calling the cops and filing a noise complaint?"

Keith and his family shook their heads in disbelief afterwards.

When the music kept playing from Chris' house, Keith's father came out from the door of their family's house. He then asked himself, "Who the hell from this neighborhood could be blaring this annoying-ass music at this time of the damn day?"

Half an hour passed by, and the music finally stopped.

Back at Chris' house, he decided to turn off the music from the speakers to avoid further disturbance. Chris sighed to himself and thought, "I'm so fucking happy for myself. Hopefully I meet some great people at UCLA by the time I graduate!"

Meanwhile, back at Keith's house, Keith's father went back inside their house the moment the music stopped.

Keith's other elder brother blurted out, "Thank God the music's over. Whoever was playing that music doesn't have any taste whatsoever." Keith's mother said further, "I think it's cool that people listen to that kinda music. But it just isn't for me."

Keith's father breathed out heavily and nodded.

A few moments later, Keith went back upstairs to his bedroom. Keith sighed and thought to himself, "What a rollercoaster ride of a day. I'm really happy that I got in UCLA for my bachelor's degree. Hopefully Chris also qualified for his degree there."

Keith proceeded to text Chris afterwards, and told him that he qualified for his bachelor's degree in the University of California in Los Angeles. Chris replied a few moments later congratulating Keith while also keeping his admission to UCLA a secret.
