As Christmas came, Keith asked permission from his parents if he could have a friend of his come over. When they agreed, he immediately contacted Chris.

Chris dressed up a few minutes afterwards. Once he finished, Chris texted Keith for directions to his house. In Keith's reply, he told Chris to walk northwards until he saw a house with a tree outside wrapped with rainbow-colored Christmas lights.

Chris arrived to Keith's house a few minutes later.

Once he walked up to the doorstep, Chris knocked on the door thrice. Keith's mom said, "That must be your friend, Keith." All of a sudden, Keith's dad jokingly responded, "So the legend goes..." Keith's elder brothers and mother started laughing.

Keith stood up from the couch, rolled his eyes while his back was turned around, and went to the door.

He opened the door a few moments later and said, "Hey, miss girlina!" Chris hugged Keith and said, "I'm so happy to finally be here at your house! Merry Christmas, miss thing!" Keith hugged back and replied, "Merry Christmas, queen! Come in!"

Keith pulled away from the hug shortly after and motioned for Chris to enter.

After closing the door, Keith wrapped his right arm around Chris' shoulder and walked with him to the living room. A few moments later, Keith looked over to Chris and said, "Here we are, honey. I'd like you to meet..." Keith pointed towards his family, who was sitting on the couch, and continued, "My family." Chris smiled at everyone, gave a shy wave, and said, "Hello. I'm pleased to meet y'all."

Keith's parents and brothers all waved hello back.

Then, Keith looked towards his family and said further, "This is Chris. He's my friend from school. I wish he was actually in my class, but oh, well. We met after my clumsy ass forgot to look where I was going one day, and bumped onto him once."

Keith's parents and brothers smiled.

A few moments of silence pass, and Keith's mother finally stood up to shake hands with him. She approached Chris and said, "It's nice to meet you, young man. And from what we heard as Keith opened the door, you seem like such a nice person."

Chris smiled awkwardly and shook her hand.

As Keith's mother sat back down on the couch, Keith's father stood up to give Chris a hug. He pulled away shortly after and said, "You seem to really match personalities with my son, huh? I can tell you've been quite a good influence to him."

Chris smiled and nodded.

Afterwards, Keith's mother asked, "Would you like something to eat, Chris?" Chris said, "That would be lovely, Mrs. Habersberger, thank you." Keith then said, "Let's go to the kitchen, then." Chris and Keith quickly started walking to the kitchen.

Once hey got to the kitchen, Keith told Chris to eat what he wanted.

A few minutes pass, and Chris decided to eat some carved turkey that Keith's family ate for lunch earlier, alongside some mashed potatoes. While at the dining table, Keith asked Chris with a soft tone in his voice, "So, honey... How's my family to you?"

Chris chuckled quietly.

He replied, also with a soft tone in his voice, "Your family seems nice. I love that they're trying to be accommodating. But imagine them thinking we're a couple or some shit..." Keith playfully rolled his eyes and said softly, "Lord Jesus. Imagine..."

Chris and Keith giggled amongst themselves afterwards.

When Chris finished eating, he stood up from the chair he sat on and said, "I'll wash this up, sweetheart." Keith stood up as well and replied, "Oh, don't even bother, miss thing. I'll take care of that." Chris smiled and said, "Thank you, queen."

Keith proceeded to wash what Chris used for eating.

Afterwards, Keith asked Chris by whispering, "Wanna go back to the living room?" Chris nodded and said, "Sure." A few moments later, Chris and Keith walked back to the living room and saw Keith's family already playing Cards Against Humanity.

One of Keith's elder brothers asked both of them to join along.

Everyone played for a couple of hours afterwards. When the last round ended, Keith's mother stood up and said, "Well, I best start cooking dinner. Chris, would you want to stay the night?" Chris smiled and replied, "Certainly, Mrs. Habersberger."

Keith, his father, his brothers, and Chris sat on the couch afterwards.

When Keith's father turned on the TV, MasterChef was airing. Chris suddenly said, "Oh, I love this show! Have y'all watched this before?" Keith's elder brothers nodded, while Keith's father asked, "What goes on in such a show? Do they literally just cook?"

When Chris, Keith, and Keith's brothers nodded, Keith gave his father a gist of how the show worked.

Keith's father then said, "Well, let's see how good these home cooks are." As the episode was playing, everyone gave different reactions when a home cook presented their dish to the judges and asked each other if they would want to eat such a dish.

At around 9:00 pm, Keith's mother called everyone to the dining table.

Keith's family did their tradition during Christmas dinner shortly after. When it was done, Keith's father blurted out, "Well, Chris, for being such an entertaining guest, we'd like to have you grab food first." Chris gulped nervously, smiled awkwardly, and replied, "Oh. Um... t- thank you, Mr. Habersberger." Keith and his family smiled at him. After Chris grabbed food for himself, everyone else followed.

Keith and his family, along with Chris, started eating dinner after that. As the family called it a night, everyone went to sleep, with Chris sleeping beside Keith in his room.
