The second quarter begins with Jabberwock's counterattack. Nash passes the ball to Silver, but just as Murasakibara was about to block him, Jabberwock uses a screen to stop him. Silver receives the ball and finds himself in a one-on-one battle against Aomine. Silver notes that it doesn't matter who he is up against because he will win against anyone. Silver dribbles and manages to pass Aomine, to everyone's surprise. Silver is then marked by Murasakibara, who tries to stop his dunk but is overpowered by Silver. The audience is shocked as Silver mocks both Aomine and Murasakibara for not being able to stop him

The game continues and Silver even manages to stop Akashi's shot. He steals the ball and passes it to Nash, who immediately passes the ball back as Silver runs to the hoop, being followed by Adira and  who try to stop him. Silver mocks both Adira and Midorima before doing a two-handed windmill lane up dunk. This surprises not just the audience but also Kagami, who explains the complexity of performing the move. Silver mocks Team Vorpal Swords again for being unable to stop him.

The game continues but Silver manages to stop all of the Team Vorpal Swords' counterattacks. Just as Adira lands a dunk, Silver who was marking her lands hard on her ankle causing a large snap to be heard. The referee's whistle is blown causing the game to pause.

Adira stays sitting on the floor, sitting on one of her legs, the other slightly stretched out infront of her, the ankle clearly hanging limp. Silver gets up off of her leg and retreats to his team which are standing on one side of Adira. The referee, Midorima, Momoi, the coach, Riko and Akashi go to Adira, the rest sit at the bench. Silver is issued a foul.

Referee: We need some paramedics-

Adira: No we don't.

Silver: Looks like the Princess won't be able to play now.

Adira: What makes you think that?

Nash: That broken ankle of yours.

Akashi: I must say, that's one way to do an ankle breaker.

Adira: Aren't you so hilarious?

Momoi: It's fine she doesn't need any paramedics, just some bandages to hold it together.

Referee: She won't be able to play-

Adira: Why does everyone keep thinking that?

She slowly gets up, the leg with the broken ankle raised, not touching the floor yet. Once fully standing, she lets out an hysterical laugh before completely stomping her broken ankle to the floor and jumping on it repeatedly.

Adira: I would say that I can most definitely play, wouldn't you?

She eyes the referee, who gets intimidated by her aura and nods. The players of Jabberwock are also surprised, even the crowd.

Momoi: Adira, bandage it before it makes you fall over.

Silver: But it's broken-

Adira: I'm glad you noticed.

Silver: How are you standing on it?

Adira: Your stupid brain wouldn't be able to process it, so there's no point wasting my breath trying to explain.

Nash: Ref, shouldn't she be taken out?

The referee glances at Adira who pierces his eyes with her demonically white ones.

Referee: N-no, s-s-she's fine t-to play-y.

Nash: WHAT?!

Adira: Were you trying to get me out?

Referee: Okay, there are 7 minutes remaining in the second quarter, can players get ready. Three free throws are awarded to Adira.

Someone: HOW IS SHE GOING TO SHOOT IF BOTH HER ANKLE AND HAND ARE ALREADY INJURED?

(A/N: hey again, just in case you forgot about her injuries, Adira punched the mirror this morning- injuring her hand, had scissors thrown at her face, and just completely broke her ankle. So she looks like she just came out of a war :!)

Midorima scoffs at the comment as he watches Momoi finish wrapping up Adira's ankle.

Midorima: Adira, please don't break any more of y/n, nanodayo.

Adira: Calm down Shintaro, I'll bring your girlfriend back in one piece I swear.

Akashi: It's not good to lie, Adira, you just broke her ankle, she's in two pieces right now.

Adira: Alright shut up you two.

The score is 24 - 33 in favour of Jabberwock. Kagetora (coach) notes that even though the team is balanced, they will have to change the line-up by substituting Akashi and Midorima for Kuroko and Kagami to boost up the team's strength for stopping Silver's advances. Murasakibara disagrees, saying he can stop him on his own, but after Akashi's persuasion, he agrees as the team heads back onto the court. As Jabberwock notices Kuroko on the court, they mock Vorpal Swords for already giving up on the game due to putting such a weak player in.

Adira makes her three free throws. Note her eyes are both white with a ring of green around them now. She scores 3 three-pointers, increasing the Vorpal Sword's score by 9 points.

The game begins with Silver's possession of the ball as Murasakibara marks him. Silver has difficulty passing Murasakibara but when he does, he is marked by Kagami who tries to stop his dunk. Not being able to stop him alone, Aomine jumps and helps Kagami steal the ball from Silver, finally stopping him from scoring. Murasakibara receives the ball and passes it to his teammate, which Jabberwock mocks, as nobody is there. It was then Nash noticed Kuroko's presence on the court, shocking him as the latter used his Ignite Pass Kai to pass the ball further to the basket, proving his worth.

Kuroko then passes the ball to Adira, who is subsequently met by Nash. Aomine appears to have come and backed her up, while being marked by number 7 at the same time. Although the situation seems to be a 2-on-2, Adira then passes the ball opposite of Aomine's direction; towards Kagami, revealing that it was actually a 3-on-2 situation. Kagami proceeds to dunk the ball, earning two points for Vorpal Swords. Takao comments that everyone's movements are synchronised. Meanwhile, Silver asks his teammates to pass him the ball, determined to crush Vorpal Swords into pieces

Kise: Why isn't Adiracchi going all out?

Midorima: Did she let you call her that, nanodayo?

Kise: She hasn't told me off yet so i just carried on..

Akashi: I don't know why she isn't dominating the court yet, she's playing like y/n.

Momoi: Maybe she's trying to be like Tetsu-kun and limit her presence on the court.

Midorima: Adira isn't one to hide on the court.

Akashi: Maybe it's a plan of hers.

Takao: She doesn't seem that scary at the moment either.

Riko: Yeah that's true.

Momoi: Maybe something's wrong.

Akashi: maybe.

As Silver gains possession of the ball, Kagami and Murasakibara immediately double-team him, with Murasakibara adding that he doesn't want to work with Kagami since it's annoying, and that he's just doing this in order to win, which effectively seems to piss Kagami off. Silver shouts that this kind of defence will not stop him, and surpasses the double team with a fast drive. However, Aomine quickly intercepts the ball, saying that he knew Silver wasn't the type to pass, and that people like him are extremely easy to read.

Aomine is then up against a double team, but Kuroko calls out to him to pass the ball to him. Although having the intentions to face the double team on his own, Aomine decides to pass to Kuroko instead, catching his opponents by surprise not only with his action, but with Kuroko's misdirection as well. Kuroko then passes the ball to Adira, who successfully dunks the ball. The second quarter then ends, with 45-49 in favour of Jabberwock.
