32: Game Over

Adira's pov

(A/N: oh wow, i've not done a POV in this entire story, how lucky are you!)

Nash could move position.

Silver could break past Aomine.

That other member is bouncing around a lot. He could move past Akashi. No he couldn't, Akashi will counter his movements.

Kuroko will be there. Or will he? He can't move that quickly.

Shoot, that player is getting close to Shintaro.

Silver might intercept the ball if Kuroko hits it.

I'm over thinking this.

The ball i threw was still travelling to the empty space, I saw Nash reaching for it.

Kuroko's POV

Adira didn't expect that pass to be for me did she?

How on Earth was i meant to travel half the court in under 2 seconds and get it to Midorima-kun!

But the ball must have been for me, it was travelling to an empty space on the court.

Running as fast as i could, i started towards te ball.

Out of the corner of my eye, i noticed Nash also going towards the ball.

I couldn't let him get it, not after all of this.

Determined i run faster, noting where i would have to direct the ball.

That's when i reached the ball.

Nash had reached it too, so i had quickly hit it with all my power.

Midorima-kun was already jumping again, waiting for the ball.

Would my pass reach his hands?

No.

Adira's POV

Kuroko got the ball, but it wasn't going to reach Shintaro.

Running, i reached the ball midair and nudged it so that the angle of the ball would change.

Shintaro was falling now, without the ball.

The ball was nearly at his hands, but it might be too late.

That's when-

Midorima's POV

The zone.} on repeat (A/N: nah i'm kidding that's not what he's actually thinking lmao)

For y/n. I have to make this shot.

I don't care what it takes to do this.

I jump, waiting for the ball to hit my hand, but it doesn't.

I notice it was Kuroko that passed the ball, but Nash seemed to have interfered.

The ball was too low.

In a flash, i just about noticed that Adira had appeared and hit the ball slightly.

The ball sped up quite quickly and had changed its angle.

I got the ball just as i started to fall.

1 second left.

(A/N: yh i know it was 1 second ages ago but we are going to imagine all this stuff that happened in their heads were like stupidly quick and their movements on the court were also very quick!)

I shot the ball.

The buzzer sounded as i landed back to the floor.

The ball was still in the air, only now reaching its peak.
