OLIVIA

Argh. I've called Kuya for like seven times already and he hasn't answered not even one of them. Ano kaya ang nangyari kay kuya?

I wanna check his room pero baka lock lang so sayang lang ang efforts ko.

But no more problems kasi I have to go outside without getting caught by Mom or Dad I've alreasy texted Gil and he's by the block waiting for me.

I check outside of my room, actually I've heard mom's voice from the other room - which is Prince's room - but I am still not sure where Dad could be, please be at their room.

I get down the stairs as silent as I could, hoping not to make any noise to get any attention. Then I get near the main door to freedom and I heard a cough, oops worst sneak out ever.

"Where do you think you're going Olivia?" Dad caught me and I can't just turn around and leave him, that's disrespectful and rude.

"Ah aalis na po ako papuntang school, I know how to commute naman eh and I have enough money for it Dad."

"No, you are going to go with your Auntie to school and that's final."

"Pero matagal pa siya at kailangan ko na pumunta sa school."

"For what? Do you have a boyfriend Olivia? Tell me." Gulp.

"W-wala naman po." Lumapit si Dad and he gave me a scary look.

"Akala mo di ko malalaman? May boyfriend ka!"

"Wala nga Dad, pano ka naman nakakasigurado?" He slapped me and nakita ko si mom pero di ko napigilan ang luha ko. "Eh pa'no kung meron nga! Pero hindi yun ibig sabihin na pwede mong ipunta ang lahat ng galit mo sa akin."

"Olivia, stop it He's your Dad and learn to respect him. At ikaw naman Oscar, alam mong bata yan kaya wag na wag mong isampal siya ng ganun ganun lang."

Lumabas ako ng bahay na umiiyak then nakita ko si Gil and his car at binuksan niya kaya agad akong pumasok sa loob.

But before he could speak up, sinara ko ang door and I immediately hugged him and I silently cried on his shoulder.
