[16] Operation: Bawal

OLIVIA

Unang pagtining ko akala ko kung sino lang. Si Kurt pa pala.

"Oh Olivia, I didn't know you go here. Akala ko malayo ang bahay mo dito, bat ka napunta dito?" I didn't look at him in the face but at the floor trying to avoid looking at him.

"Ah wala lang, paalis naman ako. Sige, goodbye." I walked past him pero nahawakan niya ang braso ko. Di ko napigilan, he pulled me and my face went up his chest and I looked up and he looked down at me, he smirked at me.

"Ang ganda mo naman Olivia. Do you know... I um... wala, namiss kita." Then, he hugged me tightly.

"Argh. Kurt, stop it. Pupunta na ako sa parents ko bye." Pumilit akong umalis sa kakayakap sa kanya.

"Bat ka nagmamadali? Kanina okay lang eh ngayon, oh my gosh Olivia." He lifted my chin up and he looked into my eyes then my lips. He leans forward but I insisted.

"Ano ba, nakakahiya ka naman. Alis na ako Kurt." Pumilit ako at nagmadaling umalis.

Ano ba naman yun.

I still can't believe what he's just done. Argh. Nakakairita naman itong lalaking to. I hate him, alam niyang wala na kami pero... argh this is bullshit argh I need to control my anger.

I went back to the hospital and asked the front desk where is my brother's room at mabuti naman at nailipat na siya sa ibang room.

Pumunta ako sa room ni Kuya. I saw him there on the bed walang kamalay-malay puno ng pasa ang katawan he's asleep, all I could hear inside the room is the beeping of his heart rate and my mother weeping silently.

I would want to go next to her and comfort here but a sudden anger inside of me over takes my body which made me sit there just next to Kuya Nick.

I look onto Kuya's lifeless body, "Kuya? Are you okay? Wake up na. Wag kang makulit na Kuya, miss kita." I felt the tear on my cheek kasi I miss Kuya at ang pangungulit niya sa akin.

I place my head next to his arm and try to rest my eyes.

Natulog pala ako.

I woke up when someone plaved their hand on my back, agad akong nagising and checked kung sino siya.

It's Gil.

"Ah where's mom?"

"Umalis na kanina parents mo, babalik daw sila mamaya. Di ka umuwi kagabi? Andito pa pala yung ibang friends ng kuya mo at si Hayley. Alam mo ba? Kanina pa si Hayley andito dahil concerned siya kung okay ka lang." I felt touched sa ginawa ni Hayley.

"Di na ako umuwi kagabi. You can tell kasi naka uniform pa ako. Asan si Hayley? Papuntahan mo siya dito." He pointed at Hayley sa labas.

Pumasok na din si Hayley and gave me a hug. "Okay ka lang bessie? Eto pa pala damit na pinapabigay ng parents mo kanina dahil tulog ka pa raw." She gave me a paper bag with my clothes. "Kumusta yung Kuya mo bessie?"

"I wish he's fine and going to wake up sooner or later."

"Bessie, pasalamat ka at Saturday ngayon." We giggled sa statement niya.

Kanina pa ako andito sa hospital kasama sina Gil at Hayley

I seriously feel awkward.
