I like your face~
빨간 입술 cherry~
In the year 2018, I first discovered a YouTube channel called Sam & Colby. The first video I watched was titled: EXPLORING BLOODY ABANDONED HOSPITAL(gone wrong). Once discovering the Sam and Colby channel, I fell head...
Colby and I hail a taxi outside of KQ Entertainment. I ask the taxi driver to take us to the address of our AirBnB. Our AirBnB is a beautiful, spacious house in central Gangnam. I really like the place that Colby got us. It's now around 10PM. Jet lag is starting to hit and all I want to do now is sleep. I find my way to the master bedroom and climb into bed to sleep. Colby spent the night in the living room, watching a random variety show on TV. The variety show he watched was Knowing Bros. It's a variety show that features different K-pop groups and Korean actors. Colby had no idea what was happening because he doesn't speak Korean, but good thing there's subtitles.
That following day, on January 4th, Colby and I went to N. Seoul Tower and Gyeongbokgung Palace. Colby and I go to the top of N. Seoul Tower, getting an incredible view of the city from a high vantage point. For our visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace, I thought it'd be fun to dress up in traditional Korean clothing called Hanbok. We roll up to a Korean Hanbok rental shop and shop around for the hanbok we want to wear. I end up choosing a blue Hanbok that looks like this:

Colby chooses a hanbok to match me. His hanbok looks like this:

Colby even has the little hat to go along with it. The blue on his hanbok really makes his beautiful blue eyes pop. With our hanboks chosen and rented out, we then take a taxi back to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Once arriving back to Gyeongbokgung Palace, we enter the palace. I'm living out my princess dreams right now, with my Prince Charming. As we're taking a walk around the palace, we're getting all kinds of compliments from other couples and visitors. I ask one of the girls passing by to take pictures of Colby and I posing in front of one of the buildings. After taking pictures, the girl, who's named Choi Haneul, actually recognized Colby. "Can I take a picture with you?" Haneul asked. "Yeah, of course." Colby said with a smile. Haneul happily poses with Colby. "Your name is Choi Haneul right? Is your little brother Choi San of ATEEZ?" I asked. "Yes. That's my brother." Haneul said. "Wow! It's nice to meet you. I just met your brother and his members yesterday." I said. "Wow, nice. Can we be friends?" Haneul asked. "Of course. Here is my KakaoTalk QR code. What are you doing in Seoul?" I asked. "I'm visiting my brother." Haneul said. "Oh, nice." I said. "Have a nice day, you guys." Haneul said. "Thanks, you too. I'll text you later." I said. "Okay." Haneul said, smiling. She has identical dimples to San. Cute.
After spending about 2 hours at Gyeongbokgung Palace, we return the Hanboks back to the rental shop. Once getting changed back into our regular clothes, I suggested to Colby that we go visit SM Entertainment. This company manages so many of my favorite groups. Groups like; SHINee, NCT, EXO, Red Velvet, WayV, Super Junior, etc. Once arriving to SM Entertainment, Colby and I wander around the lobby. Then, we make our way to the SM Cafe. I order an NCT-themed coffee called Hello Future, based on the NCT Dream song Hello Future. It has blueberry and grape flavor in it. Upon trying it for the first time, it's super delicious. Colby had ordered an EXO-themed coffee called Paradise. Based on the EXO song Paradise. They also have options to order the favorite coffees of the SM artists. I think I'll try Johnny's favorite coffee. Johnny's favorite coffee is an iced Americano. I finished drinking my Hello Future coffee, and order an iced Americano. In Korea, an iced Americano is shortened to 아아. Literally: Ah-Ah.
Colby and I leave the SM Cafe and take the elevator to the floor where all the practice rooms and recording studios are located. Then, from a distant practice room, I hear a familiar song. It's Kick It by NCT 127. I follow the song to the practice room where it's coming from. In the practice room practicing this song is Mark, Johnny, and Jaehyun. This might be my only chance to meet more K-pop idols. I knock on the door once the song finishes. Mark comes to the door. He opens the door. "Uh, hi. Who are you guys?" Mark asked. "Hi, Mark. My name is Raeshel. I'm a huge fan of NCT 127. This is my fiancé Colby Brock. May we come in?" I asked. "Uh, sure. Come in." Mark said, stepping aside to allow Colby and I to come into the practice room. "Guys. This is Colby and Raeshel. Apparently, Raeshel is a huge fan of ours." Mark said, introducing me to Johnny and Jaehyun. "Nice to meet you guys." I said. "Nice to meet you too. Where are you guys from?" Johnny asked. "I'm from Reno, Nevada." I said. "I'm originally from Kansas, but I live in Las Vegas, Nevada now." Colby said. "Oh, nice." Johnny said. "What are you guys up to?" I asked. "We were just practicing." Mark said. "I see. Oh, can you teach me how to do the Cherry Bomb choreography?" I asked. "How much time do you have?" Jaehyun asked. "We've got all day." Colby said. "Alright. Let us show you how it goes first, then we'll teach you step-by-step." Jaehyun said. "Okay. Sounds good." I said. Mark, Johnny, and Jaehyun do the whole choreography for Cherry Bomb. When they finish the song, Johnny goes through and teaches the choreography to Colby and I step-by-step. "What dance experience do you have?" Johnny asked. "Umm. . ." Colby said, thinking back to his live show with Sam, way back in 2018, "I have a bit." "I have zero experience." I said. "Alright. This is going to be difficult for you, then." Johnny said. "I'm willing to learn." I said. "That's the spirit." Mark said.
