"Brady! Come on!" You yelled going down your stairs. "You're going to be late!"

You heard your little brother huff behind you, "I'm right here, I just need to put my gear in the car," He drags his hockey bag into the trunk of your car.

Since you were still living at home with only a part-time job and college, you were assigned with taking your 10-year-old brother to hockey practice every other day. You didn't mind, the rink was on the way to your school and his practice was the same amount of time as your class, so it was easy for you.

"Alright, B, have a good practice. I'll see you when you're done," You told him with a smile.

"Yep," Was all he said before hopping out of your car, grabbing his gear, and running towards his friends.

"I try and be supportive," You huff before driving off to your class that starts in 15 minutes.

"Dude, I saw one of the Canucks walking into the rink! What do you think is happening?" One of Brady's friends, Cole, asks while they were tying up their skate laces.

Brady shrugged, "I don't know, maybe they just want to use the rink."

Cole nods and shrugs too, "Yeah, maybe your right, but still, there is a Canuck in the building," He said excitedly.

Brady smiles a little bit, there was indeed a Canuck player in the building.

A few minutes later, Brady's coach rounds up all of them for a talk.

"All right boys, we have a special guest joining us to help, so don't mind if they come around and help you. Work on shooting until they come and see you."

Cole nudged Brady, "See what did I tell you, the players are going to be our 'guests'," He shakes Brady by the shoulders. Cole got a little too excited sometimes, especially when it came to the Vancouver Canucks.

Brady slaps Cole's hands off of him, "Calm down, don't look too excited or you'll look stupid." Brady and Cole were an interesting friendship, while Brady was always on the verge of sleeping, Cole was bouncing off of the walls 24/7. Brady was always the one to set Cole straight with the cold hard truth, and Cole appreciated that.

"I won't look stupid," Cole frowned.

"Yes you will," Brady deadpanned.

Cole reluctantly agreed with Brady when he felt his hands shaking at the thought of NHL players watching him play. "Okay, yeah, maybe you're right. I'll calm down."
