The Diner
I step out of my car and look for Travis in the diner. He's there, but my ex girlfriend Raleigh is also. I was curious on what he would be doing with Raleigh but they had papers with them. So I sat down."Hi, I wasn't expecting a surprise." I say to both of them.
"I know you hated surprises but I decided to stick to one." Travis says.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean after what you said about Julianna, I think you were talking about Raliegh. She's been the one consulting you throughout these years and telling you right from wrong." Travis states.
"Even if you broke my heart 4-5 times, I managed to stick to you and have you by my side. You were the most important thing in my life and you still are Steven."
"Look, I don't know what you guys are talking about but first off, you can't tell me or point out to me who I should be with. Secondly, I know who I want and that's Julianna. I know you'll have a hard time accepting that. Seeing as how you are in love with her." Angrily, I say to Travis.
I walk out the diner and look at the clock its late.. I should probably get home.
I call my brother to see if I could come over.
"Hey bro."
"Hey what's up?"
"Nothing I'm just calling to see if you are going to be home this weekend and if I could come over."
"Of course little bro, come anytime you like. Can I ask what's wrong?"My brother has always been good at solving mysteries.
"I'll explain when I get there tonight. I'll see you later."
"Okay. See you soon."
I hang up and head home to pack up some clothes. As I'm doing that, I start to think more and more about Julianna, but more about how disrespectful I was to Raliegh. She seemed more upset and innocent than ever before.
I head out and start driving to my brothers house. 2 hours away from where I live. I'm on this highway and all I can remember from that night is headlights coming toward me and later red and blue lights flashing.
