Ford: morning Johnny

Johnny: hey Ford, how are you feeling?

Ford: I've had better days, but at least now Yvonne's safely locked up in a prison cell

Johnny: I hope she isn't plotting again

Narrator: Lilah enters the living room

Lilah: you practically live here, Ford. Don't you ever miss Amber, Rayalynn, or Rose?

Ford: I haven't spoken to my own mum for days! Amber probably hates me, and I do still talk to Rayalynn. But I also enjoy spending time with my best friend.

Lilah: Too much. *muttering*

Johnny: Mum. Seriously. Are you still angry at Ford? This is ridiculous! I thought we'd been through this.

Lilah: Since when did I say I was angry?

Ford: Forget it, Johnny. Lilah, I'm sorry, alright? It was my fault.

Johnny: Ford, please stop saying that. You don't have to agree with my mum.

Narrator: Johnny rolls his eyes, slightly annoyed with his mum.

Lilah: excuse me!

Ford: Johnny, come on, let's go for a walk.

Johnny: gladly. *gritting teeth*

Narrator: Johnny and Ford grab their coats and scarves before heading out into the crisp, fresh air.

Johnny: Are you going to see Lilliana soon?

Narrator: Ford shrugs

Ford: I might, but I really don't want to lead her on. I know she loves me. I don't want to break her heart.

Johnny: I get that. No one other than Sabrina has really liked me in that sort of way; I don't have a clue how it feels for someone to love you and you not love them back. Deep down I've always liked Sabrina. She was different to everyone else...

Ford: I wish life was simple.

Johnny: It never is. Not when my sister is Cara and your Aunt is Yvonne.

Ford: That's true. We've both had our fair share of difficulties.

Johnny: I just-

Riya: -hey

Narrator: An older girl with flowing red hair and green eyes stands in front of them.

Ford: uhhh...hi? Who are you?

Riya: The name is Riya. Surely you've heard of me?

Johnny: Riya...Riya...Riya...wait a second-

Riya: You're starting to recognise me then?

Johnny: You were the girl who almost burned that boy - uhhh Finn was it - alive!

Ford: Johnny, we should go...I don't like this.

Johnny: You remind me of Yvonne. *to Riya*

Ford: Johnny, please.

Narrator: Ford starts walking backwards, nervously.

Riya: Your friend wants you to follow him...like a little obedient puppy.

Johnny: Please, shut up. I don't blame him for being frightened. Anyone would be, especially of you.

Riya: Do you want to see tomorrow?

Narrator: Ford, standing a little distance away, freezes as soon as the words leave Riya's mouth.
