The sun was beginning to rise in the horizon painting the sky a very light blue.
A long blonde haired individual was darting swiftly through the trees; his hair now approximately goes a little just below his shoulders; tied in a neat high ponytail with a braid on the side; bangs parted to reveal a heart shaped hairline.
His skin was just the right shade of tan that shined with perspiration. And oh, the freckles are more than prominent now. Eight months of training has passed by quickly and Felix has now quite got the hang of all his rigorous training. As compared to before, Felix was now wearing a black Phoenix Wing uniform; not quite official yet, as he is still lacking the golden wing badge to be placed on his left chest when Changbin promotes him. Felix's form and body has improved; gone were the days of lanky small Yongbok who was unable to hurt a fly. He did not have the same built as Changbin, but he had hardened muscles on the right areas.
Felix jumped high, landing on another branch of a tree with so much stealth, a normal person would not have been able to feel his presence.
The morning exercise was this: find ten blue flags hidden around the woods without triggering any of the booby traps Seungmin and Innie have placed the night before andwithout being tagged by Lee Know. So it was a physical and a mental exercise rolled into one. And he had to finish the task before breakfast.
Felix cursed under his breath. If the sun was already rising, he would easier be seen by Lee Know now, and would just as easily be tagged. If Lee Know touches even a strand of hair from Felix, the game's over and he loses. He had to widen the distance between them before the purple haired feline finds him. For one, it was harder to finish the task if Lee Know was continuously fighting with him as if to the death. Who knows what weapon Lee Know has at his disposal today? Last time it was a freaking katana.
"The sooner I get to finish this the better." The chicken-feline hybrid thought to himself quietly.
Out of all the exercises, Felix could only count how many times he has won against Lee Know and that was... once: when Lee Know had a bad cold and couldn't sniff where Felix was even if he wanted to. It is not that Felix was a bad bodyguard in training; in fact, he was one of the best pupils Hyunjin has ever trained. It's just that Lee Know was just toogood, with years and years of experience.
Felix noted a blue flag just across the line of trees and into what seemed like a mossy boulder. He has learned though, that if a flag is pretty much visible for all to see, it is most likely booby trapped. Felix landed on the balls of his feet and trudged along; nearing the blue flag. He looked around for any strings or wires that could offset a series of traps. He noted one or two which he immediately took care of. This was supposedly the last flag to get and he'll finally win. Felix reached out his hand to grab the blue thing when suddenly he heard a sound coming from the trees. He immediately ducked his head just as a black snake like thing came flying and retracting back.
"Good reflexes." Lee Know smiled above the tree. In his hand, was a black whip. Okay, that was unexpected but it also looked hella sexy. Felix shooked his head. What was he saying.Lee Know was here meaning this last flag won't go to his possession without a fight.
"Try taking it again." Lee Know said; eyes cold and calculating.
Felix knew better than to listen to the feline hybrid's taunts.
He was taught a few things: The blue flags were like hostages; meaning when it came to the real thing, these were the people you were "supposedly" going to protect. So if an enemy comes out, you fight.
