Felix was not used to Changbin being distant towards him. Sure, Changbin still gave him kisses, and he still made sure Felix was taken cared of. But why did he feel like his boyfriend was not being open to him? It was Changbin's eyes that gave him away. When Felix asks him what's wrong, he'd fake a laugh and avert his eyes. Oh those eyes told him a million things. He knew Changbin was hurting and he did not know how to comfort him.
"You don't have to hide anything from me. We can face this together Binnie." Felix pleaded as he held Changbin's hand. The older man caressed his cheek and just gave a weak smile.
"We'll talk about it some other time. You have exams coming up."
"I care about the exams, but how am I going to focus if you keep evading my questions!" Felix raised his voice; clearly upset. Changbin paused; taken aback by Felix's sudden outburst. Felix was usually very understanding, but Changbin has become too avoidant that Felix could not take it anymore.
"I promise. We'll talk about this soon alright? Not now, Felix..."
"I always have to listen to you! You say I have to trust you, but why won't you trust me?!" Felix said angrily; tears stinging his eyes as fat droplets fell from his eyes. Changbin wanted to wipe them away but tried to hold himself back.
"You don't have to face this alone, Changbin. But you're drifting away from me just because you can't be honest!"
Changbin pursed his lips. Felix was shocked at how stubborn his boyfriend actually was.
"Ugh! Never mind! I'll talk to you later. I can't with you! Time out!" Felix said, as he stomped his foot and walked out the hallway.
"Y-Yongbok-ah..."
"Don't you dare call me Yongbok right now, Changbin!" Felix said wiping his tears, shouting across the hallway. It was kind of cute though. Changbin wanted to run to him but decided not to. Felix has now resorted to not letting Changbin call him by his endearing name. That was new.
"S-sorry..." Changbin said worriedly.
"You better be! I'll pass my exams with flying colors! I'll prove to you I can do anything!" Felix said angrily as he slammed the door of the library at Changbin's surprised face. He may have slammed it a little too hard, for the old door kind of had a crack in the middle after he threw a fit. He reminded himself not to throw a tantrum too much, for the door must have cost a fortune... or probably was priceless. He did not care that much though, he wanted to show Changbin he could get angry too. And it seemed to be working on the other man, because after an hour Changbin was peeking through the door of the library, with another pair of eyes observing; which was probably Jeongin.
"I can see you both. Close the door!" Felix shouted. "I'm studying! OUT!"
"Oh... A-alright... S-sorry Yongbok..."
"Pfft." Felix held his head high and averted his gaze. He pretended to leaf through the books. But he knew he wouldn't be able to focus anytime soon. He was just too angry to focus.
"Wow. He is reallyangry Hyung." Jeongin said, appalled. The older man just scratched his head. Should they be fighting now that Felix's exams were three days away? But Changbin thought, it was better that Felix fought with him without knowing the reason, rather than being more hurt with knowing the real reason. Which doesn't make sense to any of the other members when Changbin explained this.
"Changbin hyung, don't be stupid. Felix has a point. You don't hide these things from someone you care about. You face it together. Pabo." Han said on one of his visits. (He actually visited because of other reasons such as giving coffee and pudding to Lee Know; which was funny, because all of these weren't made and instead were store bought).
