Chapter 1: Secrets?

Ramiah's POV

It was 50 past 11pm, I wanted to suprise my bestfriend, Melissa by going to her apartment with flowers, chocolates and, her bday gifts. Though I didn't know if her boyfriend was there with her, our apartments are next to eachother so it's kinda easy to go to her. I decided to text her asking if she was awake.

11:55 PM

Ramiah: Melllll r u awakee

Melissa: yesss I ammm why??

Ramiah: Nothing, just wanted to be the first to greet you.

Melissa: okkkkk you are always the first one to greet anyways😭😭

Ramiah: ikr #bestestfriendever!

Melissa: uhh ok sure ig....

Ramiah: ATTITUDE. AHHAHA

I closed my phone after I sent that message, it was almost 12am. I prepared all my gifts and I went to the apartment next door, I stood in front of her door. When it was 11:59.50 PM, I pressed the doorbell. At exactly 12am Mel opened the door, I literally screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEL".

She kinda flinched, which was weird because I always scream. "Hi Cammmmm" Mel said, I immediatley noticed a bruise on her eye "Hey Mel what happend to your eye" I quickly asked "ohh um...nothing" she said suspiciously. "Ok..." I said not believing a word she said, "Sooo is your boyfriend here??" I asked not wanting him to be here so I wouldn't be a third wheel and I don't wanna get jealous."He is here, but he is sleeping so come innn" Mel said, *Ramiah comes in*

I hand her the flowers, chocolate and, the gifts. "Rami naman😭"(That's so much😭) Mel said "Thank you thank you" she quickly said after, "As always" I said. Mel hugs me as a thank you, she hugs my neck while I hug her waist.
(A/N totally platonic~) After a few seconds of hugging, her boyfriend comes in the room and just stares at us, so I let go of her and fix my clothes. I was wearing a white button up shirt and some pants, "Sooo will we meet up for your birthday?? Like our friend group" I asked Mel, "uhh yea I think soo, if my boyfriend lets me go" Mel said nervously "Why do you need to askkkk it's your bdayyy lets have fun!!" "But yeahh Jacobbb allow her to have funn on her bday!!!" I exclaimed, "yea yea just go do your thing" Jacob said. "YAYYYY!!! THANKS BABEEE" Mel screams, "Don't be so loud! Ugh" Jacob says, rather rudely. "Ok I'm sorry........."  I saw Mel flinch which was weird, so I took her wrist and started pulling her to my apartment. "I'll be taking your girlfriend to my apartment now!! GOODNIGHT!!"

We arrived at my apartment, I quickly went to my room and changed to my pajamas, which is normally a sports bra and shorts. While I changed Mel followed me for some reason, she was probably gonna ask why I dragged her here. When I was changing I saw Mel just staring at me, she was blushing hard, I chuckled at the sight of her blushing, when I was done I went back to the living room and sat on the couch. I told Mel to sit beside me since she was already wearing her pajamas "Soo why did you flinch when Jacob talked?" I asked "Nothing" she said "No Mel it's not nothing," I say "I just got shocked because I was tired" She said "Nope I don't believe you." I said "Ok ok I don't really like him, he forced me to date him and he maybe kinda hits me once in a while" she says softly and looking down that I almost couldn't hear but I did hear it and I almost literally broke the door and beat the crap out of him. "Ok." I said coldly and got up from the couch and went to the door then clenched my fists ready to kill someone, Mel got up and immediatley ran up to me and said "Cam pls don't." She says telling me to not kill her son of a b*tch boyfriend which I hoped that he would be her Ex before her bday has started tomorrow. I looked at her and my face softens up, "Ok, I'll kill him tomorrow :) let's sleep for now." I said "Ok" she says. We both went to my bedroom and slept beside eachother cuddling

"Goodnight Mel" I said
"Goodnight Cam" She said sleepily
