I wanna be yours
I wanna be yours...
Arctic Monkeys went off through Vic's phone speaker.
Music always has a way of setting the mood, it can make you sad, happy, or angry. Music can make you think about things you normally wouldn't think about. Some songs made you long for something, just like this song.
Vic isn't one to think too much about love lives, but in some moments she wishes she had someone. That special person, who will never leave. Though it's hard to find someone that will stay, they may promise something but some promises are meant to be broken.
Damiano, Ethan, and Thomas don't have anyone either, so it's probably fine.
Either way, it's a beautiful day today. The sun is shining and birds are singing in the backyard. Vic is laying in the sun on one of the wooden lying chairs, bored. She wants to go swimming but the boys aren't at home, they went around for a walk.
She would ask her sister, Luna, but she doesn't think that she would want to. However, trying couldn't hurt so she got up and went inside to ask her. Luna wasn't busy with anything, she was just sitting on the couch as equally bored as Vic.
Vic flopped onto the couch next to her, "Wanna go swim?", Vic asks bluntly. Luna looks up at her, thinking to herself. She doesn't know if she wants to and Vic notices, "You don't have to be ashamed of anything okay, I won't judge you or anyone for that matter", Vic says, Luna however still hesitates.
It's just that she's afraid that Vic may think her scars aren't that bad, they aren't red anymore and she hasn't done any more damage to her legs since she came here, but they were still very noticeable. The way her bones stuck out was terrible to her as well, the consequences of not letting yourself eat though she has been doing better with food now. But then again, Vic would never judge her for that and neither would the boys.
"Okay, I think I can but I didn't bring a bikini", Luna says which made Vic happy, Luna was doing a lot better mentally which made Vic incredibly proud. "Come on, I have spare bikinis", Vic said excitedly while taking Luna upstairs to her room.
She opened her drawer and let Luna pick the one she wanted first, she got a red one. Meanwhile, Vic got out her favorite leopard-printed bikini. Vic was already changing into the bikini, meanwhile, Luna just stared at her leggings. Vic noticed Luna wasn't changing and quickly secured her top, "I can leave if you want".
Luna looked up and quickly shook her head, she never had any trouble changing in front of anyone so this shouldn't be any different. She slowly started changing and Vic started rummaging through her other drawer, searching for sunglasses and towels.
Luna had meanwhile already put on the bottom piece which fit her alright, she tried not to stare at her scars just in case she would chicken out. She put on the top and tied it as much as she could, she felt a little proud of herself after having the bikini on. Victoria had finally gathered everything they needed, "Ready?", she asks facing Luna again.
Vic couldn't help but look at her legs for a brief moment, she felt terrible that her sister thought she was worth hurting but also so proud that she felt okay to wear short clothes again. Vic however didn't stare at her, she knew how hard she was trying to get back to her usual weight. "Yeah, let's go", Luna said with a smile, they both walked down the stairs.
