Since Pinkie died, Spectrum streak had been keeping a low profile. He had rented a flat on the eastern outskirts of Ponyville, near where Dash had talked with her friends, the day that Pinkie...
"Gah, stop thinking about that Dash!"
Rainbow told herself, and carried on flying to the cave. "The cave" was where Discord had been living since Tyrek's attack, and it wasn't really that much of a cave. Discord had used his chaos magic to turn it into a five star, one draconequus hotel.
Of course, she really didn't want to visit the god of chaos after all that had already happened, but they had promised him visits, and Discord was suprisingly good at making you forget sad things, at least for a little while. So, as she alighted by the cave, Dash wasted no time in pounding on the door, which promptly stood up on brass legs, and shuffled off, muttering indignantly. A smooth, charming voice echoed from inside.
"Ah, Rainbow Dash, do come in! The kettle was just boiling!" Dash stepped nimbly out the way as a silver kettle ran past on stubby legs, shrieking a tinny scream, and started fanning itself with a Checkered teatowel.
Rainbow rounded the corner to see the draconequus floating amid tea cups and fairy cakes. "Please, sit down!" Discord gestured to a throne in the corner of the room, adorned with rainbow banners and jewels.
"This- this isn't a good time, Discord..." Rainbow Dash murmured.
At these words, the silverware and furniture all stopped walking. The throne turned into a rock, and the buns, tea and Discord all fell to the floor. Unbelievably, Dash thought, Discord actually looked... concerned.
"Well, It's Pinkie..."
"Is she hurt? Sad? Crazy? Is she talking to rocks again? Is she-"
"Dead." Dash growled.
"What?!" Discord spluttered.
"She's dead, Discord! DEAD! AND YOU'RE HERE MAKING BUCKING JOKES! THIS IS BULLSHIT!"
Smack!
Discord's claws raked across Rainbow's face, knocking her to the floor.
To her horror, Dash saw him start to grow to unimaginable size. A growling boom of a voice erupted from his throat.
"YOU'RE LYING! YOU'RE LYING TO ME!"
That was it. Rainbow snapped.
"NO! SHE'S GONE! AND DO YOU KNOW WHY NOPONY TOLD YOU?! BECAUSE NO ONE TRUSTS YOU! YOU'VE DONE SO MUCH SHIT IN THE PAST THAT NO ONE BELIEVES YOU DESERVE TO BE TOLD ANYTHING!"
Her cyan wings unfurled, and propelled her out of the cave.
Behind her, Discord sunk to the floor sobbing. He did care. But he would never be trusted.

I had a LOT of fun with this chapter! Writing with Discord is just wonderful! Anyway, I have more on my mind. We are now halfway to 1000 views!!!
