family backstory ; natasha's mother, julie perry was always a free spirit. she loved to be outdoors, see concerts, and do anything active. in 1966, julie met eric moore, who was a popular boy fresh out of high school, just like her. they went to the same college, and dated for a couple months, before she dropped out. at 20, julie found out she was pregnant with natasha.
eric moore was a well known boy from a well known family. they had a big reputation, so for him, success was everything. when he got to college, he met julie who instantly struck him. when the two were dating, his parents found out and we're not happy, because he needed to focus on school and upholding his good name. when he found out julie was pregnant at 20, he himself was not happy. he became upset with her, claiming she "ruined his reputation", and blamed her for dropping out to take care of the baby. they haven't spoken since, except for the child support checks that arrive in the mail every so often.
after julie had natasha, she cared for her with her entire life. she knew she had to get out of new york and away from the rumors and drama. i'm 1970, she moved herself and natasha to a little town called hawkins, where they currently live in a little house together. being so young when she had nat, the two are super close and have a very good bond. also, after moving to hawkins, julie became very close with joyce, essentially being best friends.

relationship with love interest ; 1985. natasha had been to countless record stores to search for one album. the runaways self titled, 1976. she wasn't even sure if it was a vinyl in the first place, but she was searching. she finally reached a shop not too far from her house, and she found the vinyl she had been searching so long for. of course, the girl celebrated, but felt as though she couldn't leave without another one. the tyr album by black sabbath was the only black sabbath vinyl she did not have in her posession. so the girl began to search for it. the black and grey cover caught her eye, and she made her way to grab it. the moment she reached for it though, another hand reached for it. the two brushed hands, until the other pulled away. he asked about black sabbath, and the two started talking. after this encounter, eddie recruited nat to the hellfire club, from which they got super close and started dating.
