family backstory ; cat fraser was born to anne rigby and thomas fraser in 1959 in madison, wisconsin. she has an older sister, who is four years older than her, but was born to a different mother than cat's. julia's mother took off after julia was born, leaving thomas and julia by themselves. after thomas met anne rigby, the two knew they were perfect for eachother. they had cat, then decided to move up to point place, wisconsin for a fresh start in a small town. unfortunately though, neither of them are ever home, due to work. julia and cat have learned to become closer to one another, due to spending time together while the adults were working. as julia got older, she brought cat to more concerts, which rooted cat's love for music. cat eventually taught herself to play the drums, and has been playing since.
