The Original Queen

Chapter 2

It was on that boat ride to New Orleans where Ally sat her Mate's down.

She needed to have a talk with them, they had a month before they landed in New Orleans and it was now or never.

All the Mikealson Men were nervous, it was never good news when their mate wanted to talk like this, though it couldn't be that bad if the whole coven wasn't involved.

At least they knew no one was about to try and kill them, they had ran into a few problems while traveling but nothing they couldn't handle. Thankfully the Mikealsons had finally learned not to leave enemies alive, Ally drilled that one in big time.

When Allison lit a silencing spell for their apartment area in the Yacht all of them stiffened making her laugh "Calm down, it's a good thing not bad. If anything you'll be pissed at me for keeping it from you this long" She said as she looked at them amused.

I snorted as I saw them all looking at me like I was about to murder them. You would think torture is preferable to communication in the Mikealson family...

Kol looked at me like a confused puppy "What's going on Darling?" he asked as he glanced at his brothers nervously.

I sighed and sat down on the single chair, they were all spread out on the couch and loveseat.

"So, I've been waiting to tell you guys something, I knew your instincts would go nuts when you knew and I wasn't ready yet so I waited. I'm sorry but none of us were ready, were barely ready now but I think we can do it. We've been together for almost two years now and for mates that's like 10" I rambled nervously as I bounced my knee up and down.

"Elskan, just tell us. I promise it won't be that bad" Elijah said comfortingly as he tried to calm me down.

I laughed mirthfully "Oh I know you won't be disappointed, if anything I'm worried about you all trying to jump my bones at the same time and tearing each other apart. I know you can't kill each other but I hate it when you fight" I said as I gave them a pointed look.

Both Nik and Kol looked away as if they didn't hear me while Finn gave me a reassuring look.

I got up and began pacing, it made me feel better.

"Okay love, just spit it out. If you're really that worried about it make a bubble around yourself and us, if we lose control we can be contained" Nik said as he rolled his eyes.

"Not that I think you need it love. We would never do something to hurt you and I doubt you can make all four of us lose control at the same time" Nik said as he looked at me doubtfully.

I looked at him with an unimpressed look on my face "We'll see about that, okay fine, you wanna know?" I asked, summoning my damn courage. You know what the bubble isn't such a bad idea...

I quickly summoned a shield around myself, just in case they decide to start the babymaking process now.

It's not that I thought they would do anything against my will, it was more that I knew they couldn't all get in the mood around each other. Elijah and Finn had gotten better at controlling their beasts but it wasn't to the point where we could suddenly have a 4 way.

Nik and Kol can share because their beasts don't come out, I couldn't imagine the destruction if all four of their beasts came out while they were near each other. They might end up sinking the boat...

Once the bubble was safely in place I took a deep breath. It's now or never... Damnit, grow some ovaries bitch!

"We need to have a baby!" I blurted out when I couldn't figure out what else to say.

I saw as they all looked at me confused "Love, we can't have kids, you know that" Nik said as he looked at me like I had a screw loose.

I rolled my eyes "That's not strictly true, the whole plot of the Originals was about you having a baby, naturally you can have kids Nik. Well, since you broke your curse" I explained as I studied his reaction.

I could tell he was shocked and slightly terrified.

Kol scowled at Nik "of course Nik can have children" He said accusingly as he crossed his arms.

"Well, actually you can all have children. I found a magic workaround. Since we're mates we can all have children. I have a spell around my uterus right now to keep that from happening, well Nik from getting me pregnant. I'll have to cast a spell before we can have kids" I said hesitantly as I tried to defuse the tension.

I watched the second Kol's beast came out to play. Of course Mr. breeding kink would want to knock me up...

Finn was also showing signs of losing control, I could even see Elijah's beast coming out to play. The only one not excited about the prospect was Nik, though I think he was shitting himself in fear more than anything. After everything he's been through I understood.

Kol's beast looked at me with wide hopeful eyes as he stood up and started walking towards me "Baby?" He asked gruffly.

I smiled endearingly, trying to defuse the tension "not yet, I have to do the spell first, remember? But yes, we can have kids eventually" I told him gently as I glanced back at Finn and Elijah, who were both, thankfully, keeping control. If barely.

Kol sagged slightly and frowned before straightening back up "Baby soon?" he asked as he tilted his head to the side.

I nodded and smiled "yes Kol, we can try soon. But later. Not now, right now I think we all need to talk, okay?" I asked calmly, trying to coax back Kol's control.

Normally I was doing this for Finn and Elijah, not Kol.

Kol nodded and sat back down, they all seemed to be calming down. Well, that went better than I thought it would...
