No One's POV:
"Come on Max, everything's fine, let me read the letter." Dustin pleaded as he followed Max around the Wheeler's house.
"No, we still need to make sure that everything will be completely okay," Max paused as she saw Dustin try to sneak around and grab it resulting in Max knocking his hat off, "and definitely not until after Vecna is gone."
"Did you need to knock my hat off?" Dustin asked as he folded his arms.
"Yes, I did. Stop trying to be nosey," Max answered, backing up away from Dustin.
"But, Max," Dustin looked at Max with the little puppy eyes he knew worked on her, "please. What if there's stuff I want to say to you after I read it?"
"Okay, only on one occasion," Max trailed off, if they were compromising and he was reading her letter she wanted something from him.
"Yeah, I'll get ya anything you want." Dustin agreed, thinking about what Max would want. That was before he saw the teasing gleam in the redhead's eye, one that she only had when Dustin knew that he wouldn't like whatever was about to come out of Max's mouth.
"You already know, Dusty Bun." Max smiled as Lucas' face popped up from the other side of the basement.
"Concert time from Dusty Bun, sounds good to me!" Lucas said as he hopped onto the couch next to Max.
"I didn't agree to this!" exclaimed Dustin as he threw his hands in the air.
"I guess you don't want your letter then..." Max told him as she stuffed the letter in her pocket.
"Wait, okay, okay, would you at least sing part of it with me? Suzie usually sings the other parts and..." Dustin asked, knowing it was probably a lost cause.
"I just said I wanted to hear you sing." Max teased as she walked over to stand in front of him.

Story, ah ah ah ah ah ah"Thank you for your cooperation, that's all I wanted," Max told him as she handed Dustin his letter.
"Ah, no, thank you, Maxine." Dustin said before he could stop himself.
"I will take that letter right back out of your hands, Henderson." Max said, glaring at the curly headed teen.
"Ooh she pulled out the last name card," Steve said from the couch, earning a glare from Max.
"Sorry, I'm sorry, it just came out." Dustin apologized, holding the letter securingly behind his back.
Max nodded her head and continued to go up the basement stairs, saying something about getting a drink.
Down on the couch Steve elbowed Lucas in the side gaining his attention, "I know you're only a teenager, but man if you two get together again and like, have a family when you're older, those kids are gonna be good looking and talented as hell."
Lucas laughed as he watched the basement door open again, "thank you, Steve, that means a lot to me."
Dustin's POV:"Dear Dustin," I said quietly to myself since I went and sat in the corner while I read my letter, but at least she knows how to write a formal letter.
Just incase something should happen I just wanted to say thank you one last time. If it hadn't been for you and Lucas I would've been lost when I first got to Hawkins. A part of me has to thank you for following me around all of the time. I know you used to have a crush on me, it was quite obvious really, but just know that as sappy as this is, that I'm grateful for you and the friendship we were able to create.
I'll never forget you walking into the Snowball with three cans of hairspray in your hair. You and Suzie seem like the best couple, and I hope that maybe someday I'll get to meet her if everything works out. It wasn't the same without you during all the time when we were trying to get the mind flayer, but I'm more so glad that you weren't killed and captured in the Russians base at Starcourt.
Thank you for being there and for believing in me when I first came to you to talk about Chrissy and Eddie the other night. If I somehow die make sure they put something cool like "Maxine Mayfield was a total badass" on my grave alright? Nothing sappy.
Thanks, love ya man, oh and let's be real I'll always be #1 on Dig Dug.
Love, MadMax.
