━━━━━━━━━"And then she took me down to the park where she made a picnic under the tree that was full of lights, she had all my favourite foods made, like, she made them herself" Steve tells Robin as they drive to the high school "I just can't believe she went through all that trouble for me- Robin are you listening?" he asks her
"Uh, yes" she answers while doing her makeup in the mirror
"What did i just say?"
"Something about how you love (y/n)" she answers him
"No, i was talking about our anniversary date" he tells her annoyed
"Cut me some slack. She's also my best friend and i hear the same thing from both of you" Robin tells him "And it is 7 in the morning, we have the stupid pep rally and i woke up looking like a corpse"
"You're worried about a basketball pep rally? You expect me to believe that?" Steve asks her
"Yeah? So?"
"So we both know what this is about. Not buying that bullshit. This is about Rachel" Steve says to her
"Absolutely not" Robin denies quickly
"Yes it is. You know what else i think ?"
"I don't care-"
"You gotta man up and ask the girl out, we all know she likes you too" Steve tells her
"It's not that easy, okay?"
"It is. She likes boobies-"
"Ew. Gross. Don't say boobies"
"It's not a big deal, okay? I like boobies. You like boobies. Rachel likes boobies!"
"Dude, what the hell are you doing?" you ask looking over at Rachel in the passenger seat
"What? Nothing. We have that pep rally today" Rachel tells you as she fixes her hair
"Yeah? Why are you so worried about that?" you ask keeping an eye on the road
"Because..." she trails off not having an answer
"Ask her out! This is getting ridiculous" you say annoyed
"Stop, okay? This isn't so easy" Rachel groans as you pull into the school car park
You pull up behind Steve's car where Robin gets out and Rachel follows along and you watch as the two meet up with each other before going into the school gym.

"Have you talked to Rachel about Robin?" Steve asks with his arm over your shoulders walking into the gym
"Yeah, still not going to do anything" you tell him
"Jesus, Robin is the same" he says letting you get in front up the stairs with him following
"I just wish they would listen to us" you say sitting down with him
"Tell me about it" he mumbles kissing your shoulder
"Everyone now please rise for our national anthem" the principal says standing in the middle of the court "Singing for us tonight, we have a very special guest. All the way from Nashville, our very own Tammy Thomson!"
With the crowd cheering and Tammy walks into the gym, both Robin and Rachel look over at each other before looking back at the couple with the four of them having shocked faces.
Tammy then starts to sing the anthem sounding exactly how Steve had said she would sound. Like a muppet.
"I mean, you were right" you whisper to Steve and he nods his head "A muppet" you say making him chuckle
Finally the singing stops and the game begins with Lucas on the bench. You sit there trying to act like you know what's going on with Steve whispering in your ear what is happening.
Soon the game comes closer to the end and Lucas gets onto the court with the two teams neck and neck. Lucas then gets passed the ball and takes a shot.
Everyone is on their feet, with Steve holding your shoulders as he stands behind you. The couple watch as the ball makes it's way into the basket.
Everyone cheers out as they have just won the game. Steve exciting wraps his arms around your waist hugging making you laugh with him as he spins you around.
