"Yes. He had the same exact yellow pattern on his butt" Dustin tells him
"He was tiny two days ago" Max says
"Well, he's molted three times already" Dustin says
"Malted?" Steve asks him
"Molted. Shed his skin to make room for growth, like hornworms" you explain to him
"When's he gonna molt again?" Max asks
"It's gotta be soon. When he does, he'll be fully grown, or close to it" Rachel tells her
"And so will his friends" Dustin adds on
"Yeah, and he's gonna eat a lot more than just cats" Steve says making you chuckle
"Wait, a cat?" Lucas asks Dustin and they stop walking "Dart ate a cat?" he asks again the teenagers turn around to face them

"What are you talking about? He ate Mews" Steve says as you stand next to him still holding his hand and Max is on his other side
"Mews? Who's Mews?" Max asks Steve
"Dustin and Rachels cat" you answer
"(y/n)!" Dustin yells to you as Rachel shakes her head laughing a little at her little brother
"I knew it! You kept him!" Lucas says pushing Dustin's shoulder a little
