Daniel shatters the window, successfully breaching the first chemical research center.
*glass shattering*
*gunfire*
Three infected are shot down.
Daniel: It will be a disaster if these things go outside of the plant, risking a major outbreak.
He goes on further. There are three civilians trying to escape a small horde of four infected people.
Civilian (Male Worker): Somebody help us!
Civilian (Female Worker): Get away! Hurry!
*gunfire*
Civilian (Male Worker): Thanks, we're getting out of here.
Up ahead is the security door, it requires a security keycard to unlock.
Daniel: An electronic lock. How ironic. The keycard must be somewhere here.
In the security office, two more infected appear. They were shot down quickly.
He finds the keycard beside a dead corpse.
Daniel: This must be the security keycard.
Before he leaves the office, two infected block the door. He manages to shoot them in the head and arms.
The door is unlocked and opens.
System A.I.: Unlocked.
Two scientists are trapped in a storage cell behind a electronic shutter.
Daniel shoots the keypad, opening it.
The two scientists immediately run towards the exit, as four infected proceed to attack him.
He shot them back quickly.
*gunfire*
*dying moan*
Daniel goes to the waste treatment area, a civilian is trying to get away from an infected.
*gunfire*
Civilian (Male Scientist): Thank you. Go up from this elevator and it'll take you straight at the end of the pollution control facility.
Daniel arrives at the end of the facility.
"Administrative Office"
Inside the office, there are multiple broken computer terminals.
In the admin terminal, there is a file named "Regards about Project Zeta".
Daniel opens it.
In the file, he checks multiple images of experiments, including the bio-weapon canisters. He also finds the logo of the image, revealing the organization's name.
Daniel: "TETRACORP"? They are involved in the biological organic weapons and plan to apply this in the genome research applied for the private military program? I need to know more.
He checked the video file and sees someone opening a secret passage going to a big cave. It leads to a secret laboratory.
Daniel: Looks like there's a secret passage leading below of the chemical plant. And the map image in here, there's a specimen testing chamber. I'll find all the answers from there. The secret passage can be also opened remotely in emergencies. Looks like I'll have to head off from here.
*keyboard tapping*
OPEN LABORATORY ROUTE IN EMERGENCY? Y/N
Daniel opens the secret passage remotely in the admin terminal.
He goes off to the laboratory.
He tries to enter the passage, but suddenly, an arachnid-like creature climbs down.
This creature, the Tsuchigumo Prototype, stands in his way.
There is a flaw on the prototype. He sees that its head is not very well protected because of its many eyes, but the body itself has a tough carapace.
Daniel shoots the head, causing it to get staggered and back away.
After hitting it a few times, he knew that it needed to be destroyed faster.
He sees an old ultraviolet spotlight and opens it. It blinds the creature, since it does not like the bright light containing heat.
Its body begins to sizzle and emit a burning odor, as if it were in flames.
The creature screeches out in pain.
*screech*
Daniel shot its head multiple times, weakened by the ultraviolet light.
It tries to hit Daniel, but it misses him and hits the spotlight instead.
He notices a gasoline jerry can, and an unused incendiary grenade.
Daniel throws the jerry can, towards the creature. It got doused in gasoline.
He pulls the pin, and threw it on its mouth.
It exploded, and the creature is now set on fire.
The Tsuchigumo Prototype let out a last screech, as it burns to its death, slowly decaying.
*screech*
Daniel: Sometimes, fire is the best weapon.
Passing through the secret passage, he is almost at the end.
Daniel: I'll get you, Doctor Inaba, and I'll incinerate every monstrosity you created in this place!
