A/N: This going to be a rant, because reasons.

You read that right! Waterparks has a clothing brand now. I have seen one piece so far and it looks decent. Not my style, but maybe there are some hardcore fans that will like it. The clothing brand is not my problem. Everyone can do what they want with their money. However, I saw certain post involving this brand that made me want to scream. It all started when people were asked to unfollow the account they had made for it. I don't usually care for numbers, but this is just weird. Litterally asking people to no longer follow you for no reason sounds to me like you are trying to control the crowd. I hesitated to even mention the name, but as you can see I didn't. I can not give you enough information about it since it seems to be not fully out. If it is you can let me know. I really don't know why, but my gut tells me this was mostly Awsten's idea. Now as we all are aware of, he is the most important member and does most of the work. This has never been a secret, because they have said this in interviews. With this new brand coming out fans will look directly at him and will see him as the one responsible. This isn't entirely true, since in reality Waterparks owns the brand, but won't be in full control. This has to do with time and being a band. They just can't dedicate all their time to making clothes, that is what I am saying. We are almost getting to the core of my problem. I follow all of their accounts and I swear everytime this brand gets mentioned it is so fucking vague. Why are you launcing a brand that you seem to know nothing about? Or that you only want followers for. There have been posts (They are no longer visible) where the bandaccount asked for followers for the brandacount. I fail to understand why they do this. I have seen enough people create products and brands, but none of them did it this way. Never in my life. There can be a problem with the first order where they have to sell a certain amount to be legally able to stock. That is the only thing I can think of. I also mentioned that this felt like Awsten's idea (mostly). Let's just say that not many people type in all caps. The people that I follow on social media, anyway. I have to admit that most of this played on Twitter: A very reliable source of information.

It just makes me so angry what this brand brings up. Almost everytime I have seen something about it, It was weird and shady. Are they trying to be cryptic? Are they hinting at something? Are fans just being idiots? I hate it.
