SADIE CAMARAZ trudged into Hawkins High. Her boots crashed with the ground between every step. The girls face held a bored expression, not moving once as people said hello to her. The halls of the school making her ears hurt as she passed through the long hallways.

Sadie's black hair bounced as she made a stop in front of her locker. She slammed her head down in the tiny space, wanting to just sit here until the awful day was over. Her hangover was helping at all.

One thing nobody knew about Sadie was that she was basically a druggy. Trying to drown her feelings every night. Her feeling to not have a worth to live disappearing in a tiny pill or powder. Alcohol helped, too.

She heard the bell ring and finally began to make her way towards her home room class. Math. Math was the only subject the girl seemed to be good at. But, she didn't enjoy it one bit. It was just parts of nonsense that you'll barely use in your life. That's what she thought.

Sadie opened the door to the full classroom. All eyes darting on her, including the teachers. "Late once again, Ms. Camaraz." Sadie gave him a fake smile. "Don't act like it's new." She breathed out as she raised her eyebrows at the male. Her face immediately dropped as she turned away from him and sat down.

About 30 minutes into the class, she felt eyes on the back of her head. Sadie turned around only to make eye contact with some random dude she's never seen before. "Can I help you?" The black haired male started moving his hands around as he spoke. "If you would, I need a pencil." Sadie stared at the male, looking him up and down. "And who will I be giving a pencil to?" She asked as she sat up straight. Sadie took a quick liking to him and his hand movements. He was pretty cute, too.

She was snapped out of her thoughts as he finally answered her question. "In all of his glory, Eddie Munson." He leaned back in his chair before leaning forward loser to Sadie. She turned back straight forward and grabbed her pencil bag. She grabbed a pink pencil and handed it to him. "Pink? Really?" She smiled a bit as he reached out to take the pencil. "What? It's my favorite color, don't judge me!" She whisper yelled jokingly. Eddie huffed and took the pencil from her hand. The twos fingers slightly running over each others. Sadie smiled at him before turning around again.

She immediately tried to wipe the smile off her face, but her plump lips wouldn't let her. She scolded herself quietly at her actions. The girl had never blushed at a boy before, and Eddie had changed that for her.

...

Sadie slumped down in a seat in the small cafeteria. The girls talking made her ears throb in pain. She winced as she heard a high pitched voice. Instantly recognizing it as Chrissy. Sadie didn't mind Chrissy, she thought she was actually quite nice, but her high pitched voice got annoying at some point to her. And she was dating the biggest jerk in school, Jason.
