Jezz's POV

Honestly, I wish Jennie would stop talking about Felix. It's getting really annoying, but I don't know how to tell her to shut up without hurting her feelings.

Jennie and I walked home together because we live close to each other. Surprisingly, we bumped into Felix and his friends. It's almost as if those little devils are keeping tabs on us.

"Hey girls, wanna join us for lunch?" Chan asked.

"No, thank you," I replied, but Jennie smacked me on the back. What the heck? I reluctantly agreed to go out with them anyway.

A bit later, Jennie and I met up with those idiots at a restaurant. We ordered our food, and I kept quiet while Jennie was busy talking. She was blabbing her mouth like a parrot, filling the air with endless chatter.

The way Hyunjin was looking at Jennie, I swear any sane person could see he was head over heels for her. It was almost comical how oblivious she was to his feelings.

I.N looked at me and asked if everything was okay since I hadn't said a word since we arrived. I told him I was fine and continued to eat, not really interested in making small talk.

Felix, on the other hand, looked stressed. Even though I may not like him, I still care—that's just how I am. But I didn't bother asking him what was wrong. Felix stepped out to answer a call, and when he returned, he looked even more upset.

"I need to leave. It's an emergency," he said abruptly.

"I wonder what's wrong," Changbin said, frowning.

Bang Chan replied, "We never know with that guy."

We watched as Felix hurried out of the restaurant, leaving an air of mystery behind him. Jennie, of course, was concerned, but I tried to shift the focus. "Jennie, maybe it's just something personal. Let's not worry too much."

Jennie nodded, though I could tell she was still thinking about Felix. The rest of the meal was filled with light conversation, mostly between Jennie and the boys. I kept to myself, listening but not really engaging.

As we were finishing up, Hyunjin finally worked up the courage to talk to Jennie directly. "Hey Jennie, do you want to go for a walk after this?"

Jennie looked surprised but pleased. "Sure, Hyunjin, that sounds nice."

I watched them leave together, Hyunjin practically glowing with happiness. It was about time he made a move. I stayed back with the rest of the guys, who were now teasing each other about random things.

After a while, I decided it was time to head home. "I'm going to head out. Thanks for the lunch, guys."

"No problem, Jezz. See you around," Chan said, waving.

As I walked home, I thought about Felix again. Despite everything, I couldn't help but worry about him. There was something about the way he looked today that unsettled me. Maybe I'll ask him about it tomorrow, just to see if he's okay.

When I got home, I texted Jennie to make sure she was alright with Hyunjin. She replied quickly, saying they were having a great time and thanking me for not making a big deal out of it. I smiled, happy for her.

As I settled in for the night, my thoughts drifted back to Felix. I hope whatever is bothering him gets resolved soon. Despite my annoyance with Jennie's constant chatter about him, I couldn't deny that Felix had a way of creeping into my thoughts too. Maybe tomorrow would bring some answers.
