A few things to note:
- Other than the information needed to accurately write this fic, the truth is, I don't know much about Teen Wolf. I actually found out about the series when I started using one of its actors as a face claim for a Harry Potter OC I created - That actor being Froy Gutierrez who plays Nolan (I'm currently working on the fic with his character in it. It's a HUGE project, to say the least). I like to do research on the people I use as face claims. Thus, I watched a few clips of Teen Wolf, came up with a few scenarios in my head, and - boom - Innocent Bystander was born. With that said, I apologize in advance for any inaccuracies portrayed in this fic, as well as the fact that you won't see much Teen Wolf content coming from me any time soon (other than an extras companion and sequel)
- This fic was originally posted on AO3, but I wanted to cross-post it here on Wattpad to A: Gain more feedback on my writing, and B: to show off the ✨snazzy cover✨ I made. Thus, I will also be copying the original Author's Notes that came with the original fic. My apologies in advance, as they can get quite long... and chaotic.
- I am fully aware that the main character, Alice, gives off MAJOR y/n vibes, but she actually acknowledges this in Chapter Two while describing herself to the reader. I'm very proud of that part. It's kinda funny TBH.
- After doing some research, I came to the conclusion that the events of this fic should take place around 2013, despite the fact that Teen Wolf season 6b aired in 2017. That's why it is stated that these events take place in - well - 2013. Thought I'd clear that up before anyone asked LOL.
- I know Gabe and Nolan aren't the most lovable characters in the franchise, but since this story takes place from the POV of Gabe's cousin, who's only seen the good side of him at the beginning, both boys are portrayed in a more favourable light.
- IDK if this needs to be said, since this is fanfiction and all, but I do not own any of the characters who originally appeared in Teen Wolf. Those belong to the original creator(s) of the show (or, movie? I think those are some of the same characters...). Any OCs are my own. Also, the last name "Johnson" for the character Alec was made up by yours truly for the sake of convenience, while Alec himself was originally in Teen Wolf.
