Aria's pov
I see richelle scrolling through Instagram but she stops and looks at me,but I'm on my phone "I thought noah said you had to go to bed?"richelle asks "who are you my mum?"i ask joking around "fair enough but you look tired go to bed"richelle says softly. "I'm not tired"i lie, "yes you are I can see it in your face"richelle says putting her phone down on her chest, "go to bed ari"richelle says and i plug my phone in and lay back down "I love you but seriously how can you have this many pillows?!"i ask "take some off then if it's that much of a problem"richelle says looking at me. I take off a pillow, i start to get too hot so I take off my top so at this point I'm just in a bra and shorts,i notice as I lay back down to richelle begins to drift off to sleep so I put her phone her her bedside table and I pull the covers over her more. Richelle pulls my leg so it's over hers,I don't dare move or say anything to not wake her up "I know you have a crush on me ari"richelle whispers and my face flushes red, "you do?"i ask "no but now i do"richelle says smiling "not funny"i say half asleep "go to bed ari"richelle whispers softly. I fall asleep in Richelle's arms if only I could fall asleep like this every night.

The next morning
I wake up and richelle's still asleep,i get up,climbing over richelle when richelle pulls me back into bed "where are you going?"richelle whines "I need a drink"i say and she lets me go. I walk out of Richelle's room,i walk into the kitchen and grab a drink. "Hey aria"james says "hey james"i say still half asleep. Someone knocks on the door,me and james look at each other,i walks over and open the door slightly to see my dad,i slam the door closed again "get Noah"i say,leaning against the door to stop my dad from getting in,james runs down the hallway and my dad pushes the door,knocking me over. Noah,james and richelle who is putting in a top runs out of their rooms. I stand up "come on then"i say watching him "do it"i say and noah grabs my hand pulling my back "ari stop it"noah says "no" i mutter stepping forward again. My dad gets closer to me "you touch her and your a dead man walking"noah says through gritted teeth. I grab my dad by the collar of his jacket and I knee him in the stomach "did you forget that you trained me to defend myself but I never thought I would have to use that training against you"i say watching him keel over. "I suggest you leave"i say kneeling down to him. Richelle pulls me away and into a hug.

I walk over to the sofa and sit down,i watch my dad leave and Richelle walks over to me and sits on my lap "what was that about ari?"richelle asks "no clue"i say softly. "Ari darling get changed"richelle says. "Yeah yeah but I need you to get off of my lap"i say and she gets off of my lap. "You okay?"Noah asks "mhm"i mutter as I walk to my room. I walk into my room and I sit on my bed. My mum knocks on the door "why's your door locked ari?"my mum asks "I'm getting changed!"i say putting in my top "open the door aria!"my mum says "I told you I'm getting changed for fuck sake!"i say "aria open the door I want to know what your doing!"my mum say and i unlock the door "what you don't trust me?" I ask "given your history of things no i don't"my mum shouts "what because I overdosed?!"i shout "you what?!"noah says "it's nothing"i say. "Why didn't you say anything about this to me?"noah asks "because I didn't want you to worry!"my mum says "if you must know the only medicine I have in my room is my medicine that doctors gave me and it's not enough to overdose"i say shutting my door again. "I'm going out"i say grabbing my bag. "Where to?"my mum says "with a friend to the gym"i say opening my door. "What friend?"noah asks "jake"i say "the 20 year old?"my mum asks and Noah's face drops "thank you for telling him!"i say leaving to see jake waiting for me. "Come on then"jake says and i jump over his cars door "I told you not to do that!"jake says "cry about it"i say smiling.
