CHAPTER ONE

ᴡᴇᴇᴋ ᴏɴᴇ

[NAME]'S FINGERS SHOOK AS SHE HELD THE PREGNANCY TEST IN HER FINGERS.

unknowingly, she released the breath she had kept in before her eyes focused on the two red lines that appeared minutes before. silently, she placed the test down and pulled up her pants before flushing the toilet and walking out the bathroom - test in hand.

once out, she was met face to face with her husband who was hunched over on their shared bed with cold sweat running down his forehead. at the sound of the bathroom door opening, katsuki jolted up - straight in his seat and looked at his wife with expectant eyes.

slowly, he made a move to stand up - walking over to his rather unusually quiet wife who stood still in her spot. her eyes were curtained by her bangs which katsuki found hard to identify what she was feeling at the moment. as he got closer, he asked in a shaky voice -

" are you - . . . " he paused. he wasn't sure how to go about the question in fear that the outcome he was expecting was a horrible one. instead, he stopped his words and waited patiently for his wife to speak.

after much time, she held up the test in her hand and lifted her head.

katsuki felt his eyes water when he saw the two red lines on the test and his wifes happy face. " I'm pregnant! " she beamed, katsuki opened his arms wide and she took it as a sign to jump into his embrace. katsuki lifted her up once she entered his hold and spun her around the room, their joyful laughter filling the previously silent abode as nothing but warmth exuded from the happy couple.

katsuki set his wife down gently to the ground - still hugging her close, he placed kisses all over [name]'s face to express the overflowing joy he had felt while [name] giggled at the feeling of his moistening lips making contact with her flushed cheeks.

once he finished, katsuki nuzzled his head into her neck and sighed gleefully. he held [name] tighter in his hold as she let him release his last liters of tears into her sweater,

" I'm gonna be a dad . . ! "

katsuki laughed through happy tears, [name] rubbed his back to comfort him while also having buckets of tears falling down her face.

" and I'll be a mom ! "

the two cried on each other. both feeling immense happiness at the future image of their expected child being born. at one point, the two had laid in bed cuddling, too tired to do anything else but just stay underneath the covers and let their dreams take over their minds.
