CHAPTER THIRTEEN

ᴡᴇᴇᴋ ꜰᴏᴜʀᴛᴇᴇɴ

THE BABY SHOWER OF MIKASA AND JEAN WAS HELD A WEEK AND 3 DAYS AFTER YOUR FIRST MEETING.

during that, the three of you (plus katsuki) got to know each other a little better.

albeit, katsuki was wary of the new male who entered the already tight friend group he had. but with a few back and forths between two people they both hate and admire - the two got along very well.

mikasa was excited for the most part, she was overjoyed to meet the number one hero that jean got worried she might be too excited she'd miscarry.

she hadn't revealed the gender to you yet, it is a surprise afterall.

so now the day for her party came and of course as the wife of DynaMight and former top ranked hero, you dressed the part despite being pregnant.

katsuki matched with you, like he always did. still he would never allow himself to constrict his air supply with a tie. the two of you knocked on the door with katsuki's special curry that he made with his own personal special secret recipe.

[the secret of the recipe is that its not that different from regular curry, its special because katsuki made it:).]

the door was opened by a brunette girl whose hair was tied up in a bun, she wore a plain pink dress and white heels to match. at the smell of the curry, her mouth watered and before you could greet her - she snatched the curry and ran away cheering about more food.

then, a buy with a buzzcut appeared. he yelled at the girl whose name you now know as sasha - yelling at her that it was rude and that he was going to tell niccolo.

he smiled apologetically at you both before allowing you two entry. exchanging baffled expressions, you and katsuki walked into the manor and took in the environment.

the manor was big but smaller than your home. there were paintings and pictures hung up all over the walls. some of the pictures were of jean and mikasa together, dressed in wedding attire while the others were group photos of jean, mikasa, sasha and the buzzcut boy from earlier in military uniforms.

you guessed that the two were veterans, it explained why the pair were much more built than most.

entering the main room, you were greeted by the chatter of the other guests before all fell silent upon both you and katsuki's entrance. then, someone in the crowd pointed and hollered at katsuki.

the crowd began to surround the blonde, much to your displeasure and worry.

you held on to your stomach on instinct and katsuki placed you behind him with an arm outstretched in front of you. "woah! is it really the number two hero?"

"wow, I didn't think I'd see a pro here"

"hey, hey! wanna fight?"

katsuki's face soured. bringing you closer behind him.

"oi, knock it off. his wife is expecting and your stressing her out with all your damn noise." a man from behind the crowd spoke and all fell silent upon his command. they hung their heads submissively, bowing to the man before bowing to you both in apology before dispersing back to their own devices.

the man who spoke earlier was a shorter, raven haired male. with the scars going down the left side of his face to form an 'x' on his left eye - which was closed, which you assumed because the eye was damaged to the point his left eye was blinded.

though the man looked noticeable older than both of you, probably in his 40s or 50s, he was still quite attractive. even for your standards.

"thanks." katsuki, still as prideful as ever, refused to show his gratitude despite having it displayed right on his face. you pinched his side and pulled his head down with you to show his gratitude better.

the stranger waved a hand, probably dismissing you before he leaned over to drink a cup of his tea.

"did mikasa invite you?" katsuki helped you over to the couch near levi and set you down. katsuki sat next to you afterwards.

"yes, may I ask what your name is?"

"levi, levi ackerman. I'm mikasa's cousin." like a classy man, he drank tea as he spoke. radiating an aura elegance that of a noble duke.

"nice to meet you sir, my name is [name] and this my husband katsuki. don't mind his glare, hes untrained."

levi turned to the male scowling beside you and clicked his tongue. the audacity he has to glare at levi after he saved his ass.

"where are jean and mikasa if you don't mind me asking?"

"mikasa is getting ready, jean went to pick up the cake."

it was silent yet again, though not really an awkward one. you could tell he was a man of a few words and you were a woman of a few as well.

katsuki stood up after he had scanned the room for the refreshments. "do you want anything by the snack stand? I think I see [favorite drink] over there." telling him what you wanted, he obediently went to get it for you.

just as you were about to spike yet another conversaion with the elder ackerman, jean strolled through the halls with another raven haired boy with hair parted to the sides and cute freckles on his face.

"the cake is here!" everyone cheered, helping the two load the cake onto the large circular dining table they set up.

at the same moment, mikasa entered the room wearing a loose white gown. her female friends approached her and led her to the table for her to cut the cake. she caught a glimpse of you in the crowd and beckoned you over to watch the reveal.

you giddily stood up with katsuki's help and walked your way to where the cake cutting was held.

once everyone was all counted for. they all pulled out their phones to record the moment, mikasa took the cake knife and slowly but surely - she slid the knife down with a clean cut.

taking the slice out, she revealed the babys gender and everyone cheered.

"ITS A BOY!"

blue confetti sprung out from the confetti canons and everyone congratulated the couple with either tears or hugs.

you were one of the few who gave out hugs to mikasa, though your mind wandered on how you'd go about your own baby shower.

of course you'd invite mikasa. thats a given.

but you had three babies on the go, would you need to make three cakes? but thats too much for a whole party.

while you were in a daze, katsuki went ahead and grabbed you a slice of cake. he maneuvered you over to sit on a chair and placed the slice in front of you.

in the end, the party ended well with sasha devouring the remaining bits of the buffet and cake, and you getting the numbers of every single woman here while katsuki went and had a friendly spar with a boy named eren or whatever.

btw, idk if jean and mikasa had a baby boy, or if they married at all. this is just pure fanwork and not at all canon in the story. I don't read the manga so I'm sure it isn't canon.
