I have been asked a very important question that I would like to answer promptly. What is a Sympath? I apologize for the oversight. I had assumed everyone would just sort of figure it out, which was stupid on my part. So allow me to clear this up.
There are many different versions, but in my version, a Sympath is a sort of mutation of a witch, vampire, and demon. They can use magic far more skillfully than witches, and do not need a wand to perform spells. They must drink blood to survive, and though the type of creature doesn't matter, they are the most powerful when they drink from another magical creature. They all have special powers, but they only discover them: A.) when they reach transition, where they become immortal, or B.) Through a very traumatic experience.
