Before Zayn could turn and walk away, the 2 walked towards him

Edward smiled at him as the smaller one of the 2 smiled up at Zayn

"Hi!!"

Zayn frowned "Hi... Sorry I don't believe I've ever met you, what's your name?"

"That's ok, I'm Liam, Edward's friend"

"A mortal?"

Liam nodded "Yeah"

Edward cleared his throat then linked his arms with Liam's "Well, uh... We have to go. We'll see you around Zayn"

Liam smiled and waved before they both walked away

"Lying to one of the big 3 now, are we?"

Liam blushed "I don't know what you're talking about"

Edward rolled his eyes then slumped down on the chair in Liam's room "You know damn well you aren't a mortal"

Liam shrugged "I thought he was talking about you"

Edward hummed "Suuuure..."

Liam waved him out "Go to Demeter, she wants to ask you some wedding related questions"

Edward groaned "Can't you come with me?"

Liam shook his head "Nah, I don't feel like it"

"Oh you little shit"

Liam frowned "I'm not that little..."

Liam was seated with his hands behind him, he hummed with his eyes closed

He was seated as far away from anyone as he could, he was for three first time utterly and completely alone

And he enjoyed it, heat radiated all around him before he laid down and looked up

"Liam" Liam hummed tracing his fingers on the grass "Mind if I join?"

Liam arched his neck and smiled "Am I even allowed to say no?"

Zayn sat on his bed while looking at his hands, he rubbed his eyes then laid back

A knock was heard and he huffed before he got up and walked towards it

He pulled it open and frowned seeing Niall "What?"

"I'm hoping we could talk...?"

Zayn blinked before he closed the door "No."

He walked towards his bed before Niall opened the door

"Zayn, please listen-"

"Absolutely fucking not, I'm good. Great even, I don't want to talk to you unless it's necessary" He said slipping on his coat

"Zayn... You're my brother"

He shook his head "Half... We're half brothers"

Niall frowned "Zayn..."

Zayn dusted himself off "I'm going to rest for a bit" He turned crossed his arms "Or is that not allowed either?"

Niall sighed "I do hope we can talk before you leave... I don't know when I'll see you again"

Zayn looked at him "If it were upto me" he turned away

"Never"

Liam is often awake early, earlier than most when it's spring time

His mother had always said he was a troublesome child but he never cared much

He was mindlessly walking when something wrapped around his wrist and he was yanked back

One second he walking in an open field the next he's in the middle of the entry way down on his arse

"Do you have a death wish?"

Liam looked towards Zayn and blinked "What?"

"Crossing the river to the underworld without permission could lead to you being killed"

Liam blushed "I didn't know I walked that far"

Zayn rolled his eyes "You shouldn't go alone either"

Liam frowned "I'm not usually alone" he mumbled standing up then dusting himself off "Demeter asked Apollo to watch out for me, but I grew restless just laying in bed"

Zayn shook his head and Liam frowned "Wait, how did I end up here?"

Zayn sighed and rubbed his temples "I brought you back"

Liam smiled "Awww, look at you sweet little thing"

Zayn gave him a look and frowned "What?"

Liam shrugged, Zayn shook his head then walked towards him "Don't go out on your own"

Liam put his hands behind his back and shrugged "I enjoy some alone time"

"Enjoy it in your room"

"What if-"

"Liam?"

Liam turned towards the door then back towards Zayn, but furrowed his brows not seeing him there anymore

He then turned towards the door and smiled when Louis walked in

"I thought I heard you talking to someone"

Liam shrugged "Probably myself, what can I do for you?" He said joining his hands behind his back

Louis smiled "Walk and talk?"

Liam smiled "Gladly"

"-And that's how Louis and Edward met"

Zayn took a sip of his coffee before he put his cup down "I didn't ask" Then turned to look out the window "It would be nice if it rained"

Hestia snorted "Demeter won't let it rain, she's holding out for a sunny spring wedding"

Zayn rolled his eyes "Of course she is" he stayed quiet then cleared his throat "Why did Demeter ask Apollo to keep an eye out on Liam?"

Hestia opened and closed her mouth "Well, she tends to want good connections" Zayn hummed "Liam may not be her favorite but she knows he'll do good"

Zayn frowned and turned to her "He'll do good?"

Hestia slowly nodded "She... wishes that both of them get married"

Zayn blinked and nodded "Ok"

"Why do you ask?"

Zayn shrugged "I'm not sure..."
