"Well, a mighty congratulations is in order"

Liam and Zayn both turned to the nurse and she smiled "30 weeks means you're mostly safe, it would be preferred if the baby stayed in but the Official countdown until the sleepless nights begin"

"Oh, they've already begun" Liam said making her laugh when the doctor spoke up

"Sleepless nights are a good thing, let's you know that the baby is still there, still alive, and so are you"

Liam cringed and looked away, Zayn glared at the doctor who wasn't looking at them

Zayn has said a countless number of times how he'll change the doctor but Liam stops him every time, he's saying though the doctor is feeding into their worries, it's good that someone is being blunt about everything. So they can be mentally prepared

He doesn't know how he'll change Zayn's mind now because he's now too busy in his head to wonder what will happen to his baby is he died

He was mostly quiet after, a small smile here and a quiet laugh when Zayn kissed his cheek

Then Zayn was asked to step outside, he looked at Liam who smiled at him and nodded

Zayn left but stood by the door, it was 10 minutes later where the doctor and nurse left

Zayn walked in and looked at Liam "Is everything ok?"

Liam took a deep breath then cringed "You won't be allowed in the room while the baby is born..."

"Love... it's the rules, I doubt any doctor will agree to change them" he looked down

"Can you have anyone inside with you?"

Liam slowly shook his head "As we aren't married, it's not allowed and doctors are often worried what if the person cheated and someone in the room will help them switch the child with one that looks more like the god" Liam looked up at Zayn

"But  you'll still the first other than the doctor to hold the baby, They'll be brought right out to you as soon as they're born" Liam seemed to force a smile "You'll even hold the baby before I do"

Zayn rolled his eyes and shook his head "That's ridiculous. It's not right, and fucking ridiculous"

Liam cuddled to Zayn's side "Language, love..." Liam mumbled

Zayn looked at the kids, all laughing and kicking their ball around, he cupped the back of Liam's head and kissed his temple, mumbling a quiet sorry

They continued to walk until they got back to Zayn's home, where Cerberus pounced to greet them

Zayn rubbed his head, He stayed quiet then looked at Liam "Bed?"

Liam smiled "Please?"

Liam loves Zayn more than he could ever love anyone, he takes everything Zayn ever said to him, puts it into a file and puts that file into a specific cabinet in his had that's only for Zayn

Yet now be laid awake, watching Zayn sleep when he realized what he has to do, picking up his phone, he sent a quick text before he sat up and put his pillow in his place

It's what he did when he didn't want Zayn to wake up but he needed to either go use the bathroom or walk around the house to tire himself out
