The weeks flew by without an issue, they'd walk together every morning

Then they'd come home where Zayn would get started with breakfast and Liam would go shower, once Liam would be done showering, he'd come down and finish breakfast after his shower

If Hestia, Dionysus and Hermes decided to join them, they'd join them. If they didn't, they didn't.

Zayn was never focused on anything but Liam. So he didn't ever really care

They were at every appointment together, and the better Liam was doing the more comfortable Zayn was

At that point, though their baby was a big one, it didn't affect anything Liam was doing. So it was all fine

It was a sudden when he went quiet, Zayn instantly began internally trying to figure out why

And it was like Liam noticed, he took Zayn's hand and held it with both of his hands as he listened while Dionysus spoke about wine

Secretly cursing him out because his doctor recommended against wine, though a lot of people were telling him it's fine

Zayn's fingers wrapped around Liam's wrist, and focused on the pulse that was now against his fingers

Zayn wanted to tell them to leave and fuck off back to Olympus, but Liam took it upon himself to 'teach Zayn some manners', so he's not allowed to do that anymore.

Dionysus ruffled his hair once and Zayn threatened to break his nose but Liam shook his head and Zayn felt like he had to get on his knees and apologize

They didn't want to leave though, because towards the end of the night they all went to guest rooms and fell asleep in them

Zayn then picked Liam up and sat him down on the bathroom counter "What's wrong? What happened? Is everything okay?" Liam smiled and nodded "Then... what happened?"

Liam rubbed Zayn's face "The baby started moving"

The worry that was on Zayn's face melted away and he smiled "Really?"

"Yeah, it was weird... I didn't think I felt it right because I barely felt it, but it happened again and well-" Liam shrugged, Zayn looked down between them but Liam tilted his face up

"You wouldn't have been able to feel it, I promise you that you wouldn't have been able to"

Zayn slowly nodded, he pressed his lips against Liam's head then pulled away, Liam looked at the shower then held Zayn's hand

"Join me?" He whispered before he looked at Zayn, his cheeks were flamed

Zayn looked at him "Liam, I'm holding into every bit of sanity, and restraint I have for myself by a thread... if we do this I will not be able to hold back"

Liam blinked "I wish you wouldn't"

And with those 4 words, Zayn snapped. First he went for Liam's lips, then Liam's clothes then they went into the shower, where he pinned Liam against a wall

He asked Liam if he was sure one more time, and Liam just responded by turning the water on and tightening his legs around Zayn's waist

Liam let out a sigh, and Zayn (who was massaging is scalp) smiled

"Feeling good, babes?"

Liam hummed "I feel amazing" he mumbled, Zayn kissed Liam's temple then rubbed Liam's stomach

A ring disturbed their peace and Liam sighed picking up his phone and pressing it against his ear

"Hello" he mumbled, before he quickly pulled away and sat up "Mum?" He said before he left room

"Oh Liam; I'm so sorry dear"

Liam frowned "For what mum?"

"For hurting you, my love. For what I kept saying about you... I'm angry at myself for not appreciating you enough when you were here"

"I-It's ok mum" Liam said, sitting and rubbing Cerberus' head, he didn't notice the hound leaving his side and going up the stairs

"I want to see you, Liam. Those 3 constantly talk about you, they see and hear from you more than I do, how is that fair? And I have to hear about things about my granddaughter from them as well!!"

"We don't know if it's a girl just yet mum and It's just how everything is" he whispered covering his face "But time is passing and-"

"It's not passing by fast enough!! Why don't you get that I NEED to see you-"

Liam bit down on his bottom lip, cringing as he hugged himself while she continued her rant

Zayn shook his head and took the phone from him, he knelt down in front of Liam and held his hands

"Hey, ignore everything she said-"

Liam's legs started to bounce "You shouldn't have done that... she was worried, now she'll be more worried and it'll be my fault. This-" he took a deep breath and pulled away from Zayn "This is my fault, it's all my fault"

"Liam-"

"Shit, shit I have to go see her... I have to go to her"

"Liam, no!! Listen-"

Liam looked at Zayn "You don't get it... I love her and I should've listened to her"

Zayn held Liam in place "I'll call her here, I'll do it first thing in the morning tomorrow-I'll do anything, just breath!! Please baby just breath"

Liam covered his face and pushed his palms into his eyes while Zayn held him, Zayn pulled Liam on his lap ahead of him rocked back and forth

Zayn looked around before he spotted Hestia, Dionysus and Hermes all stood by the door. They all looked at him with wide eyes he held onto Liam tightly, he felt like a hand was slowly wrapping itself around his throat the more Liam begged him (Zayn) to let him (Liam) go

His eyes were nearly fell with tears when for the first time he looked at his friends and begged with 3 helpless words

"Please help me..."
