Day three of Ladrien June! It's also my birthday today, so if the upload is late, that's why. I hope you will enjoy this one, even if it was posted in June instead of February. Vote and comment if you've enjoyed! -Colorado

Ladybug knocked on Adrien's window, apprehensive to what this was all about. She looked around his room, but there was no sign of the boy. Until she noticed by his desk, a handful of cards that had been laid down. Adrien entered from his closet, grasping a certain Valentine that got Ladybug's blood pumping.
'This was a bad idea.' She thought as she took in the familiar light pink heart. Although, it's not like he knew the card was from her. He didn't know that, right?
He met her eyes and perked up, running over to the window to let her in.
"Ladybug! You came!"
"I mean, I've been visiting you most days for a couple months now, why wouldn't I come?"
"Well, I uh, wasn't sure if you were super busy today or not. It's Valentine's Day after all."
"Nope." Ladybug entered the room."My best friend is off being the cutest couple ever with her boyfriend, my parents are out for a date, everyone has got someone. So, I decided to come here."
"You want to spend Valentine's Day with me?" Adrien looked flabbergasted. It would've been cute if Ladybug wasn't sure that he was being self-deprecating.
"Of course I do, we're friends, right?" Ladybug asked timidly.
"Oh, right. We're... friends." Adrien looked away from her and Ladybug wondered what she had done so wrong.
"Whatcha got there?" She asked, suddenly changing the subject.
"Oh, this? It's a card I got last year."
"From who?"
"Oh, uh, I don't know. I thought for a split second it might've been one of my friends in class but there's no way she'd be interested in me like that."
"Why not?" Ladybug wanted to kick herself for prying further. She didn't even know if he was talking about her!
"Well, she used to be incredibly nervous around me, always stuttering and running off. We didn't exactly have the greatest start to our friendship. When Valentine's Day came around last year, we weren't super close. Plus, there was another guy I'm pretty sure she liked and they did start going out." Adrien explained. "Still not sure why they broke up." He mumbled under his breath.
"So, any other suspects?" Ladybug asked.
"Well, uh," Adrien didn't meet her eyes, "yeah. There's one other person who I think it might be."
There was a beat of silence, Ladybug expecting Adrien to tell her who the mystery suspect was. He never fessed up.
"Well? Who is it?"
"That," he tapped her nose, "is a secret." Then, he turned around and walked back towards the pile, laying the heart on top.
"Hey! Come on, it's gotta be from someone important to you, especially considering it's from last year."
"If it's from who I think it is, then I'm the luckiest man in the world." He sighed, and Ladybug tried to ignore that disappointing pang in her chest.
She knew, both as Marinette and as Ladybug, that Adrien was in love with someone. Someone who wasn't Kagami. She couldn't help but feel a little resentment towards whoever had caught Adrien's attention. Ladybug knew she couldn't date him as Marinette, he didn't feel that way towards her, and him dating her as Ladybug? That would open a whole new can of worms she didn't dare touch.
