I promise not all of these one-shots will be Ladrien having deep conversations with each other, it just so happened that my prompt generator lined all of these up. anyway, yesterday it was Ladybug's turn for a crisis, now it's Adrien's! Yay.... Vote and comment if you've enjoyed! -Colorado

Adrien was yet again questioning every single decision he's made in his life. This time, it was because of university. Even though it was a couple years away, all of his teachers and friends were starting to talk about where they wanted to go, what they wanted to study, and what career they wanted to pursue. Adrien's email was filled with hundreds of universities trying to get his attention. Some even sent letters to his house.
However, as Adrien stared at his computer, he couldn't help but feel lost. He was still no closer to figuring out what he wanted to do in his life. There was always the opportunity to work for his dad's company. He was already the face of the company, but he wouldn't mind going more into the business side. Although, that would require Adrien to have a relationship with his father long after he was a legal adult. After having to put up with him for so long, he wasn't sure if he really wanted that.
There were different subjects in school that he really enjoyed, like physics and maths. But did he like those subjects enough to go to school for them? He really wasn't sure. It was all so complicated.
He had tried to talk to Plagg about it, but his advice always remained the same. Adrien should open up a cheese shop with him, which wouldn't exactly be the worst thing in the world. However, the horror stories of working retail that he had heard from several classmates were more than enough to scare him away. There was no way that he was going to subject himself to that.
And that was just talking about the career he wanted to go into. That didn't account for the hundreds of universities competing for him to go to their school, and the hundreds of courses each of those universities had for him to consider. Combine it all together Adrien felt lost inside a sea of university applications.
Nothing that he considered felt particularly compelling, and he feared that he would just keep making his way up in his father's company. It's a stable job and a rare opportunity, but his father really was kinda a jerk. He didn't want to give him an opportunity to keep controlling his life.
There was the idea of being a stay at home dad, as well. If he was being honest with himself, that was the most compelling idea. However, being a stay at home dad required him to not only be financially stable enough to raise a child on his own, but he would also like to have a relationship with the mother. He supposed that the financial situation wasn't a big problem, his inheritance from his mother would be transferred as soon as he turned 18. The real problem was getting a wife, because there was only one girl he wanted to marry. Of course, getting her to be even remotely interested in him was going swimmingly! ...Swimmingly bad, that is.
Ladybug still was pining after the other boy, not even casting a glance in Chat Noir's direction. Adrien tried his hardest not to feel bitter about whoever her mystery love was. He really did appreciate and cherish her friendship, but after being in love with her for years it was almost becoming painful. Yet, he couldn't move on as much as he wanted to. He had tried multiple times, but failed miserably. After a few months of banter with whoever had caught his eye, he always came crawling back to Ladybug. If she wasn't his soulmate, then who was?
He really needed to give this up.
Before he could get too caught up in brooding about his continuous rejection, he heard a knock on his window. He walked over to let his visitor in, trying not to show that he had just been thinking about her.
