Right now Y/n is in the green room waiting for a radio interview to talk about his move from his previous company to JYP, the offer for the interview came 2 days after JYP announce that y/n would be the new soloist from JYP

y/n is reading the script from the PD-nim reviewing the question that the host would ask them later. some of the questions are

Why are you chose to move from your previous company to JYP?
Are you planning to release a new song or album soon?
with your popularity that keeps growing would we expect some tour soon?
how you spend your free time? do you still write new songs when on vacation?

one particular question stands out from the other

What makes you quit as a trainee and decide to start a career as a soloist?

to put it simply it is because of her when they broke up he can't step a foot at JYP without thinking about her. when TWICE debuted they were a Hot topic, everyone is talking about them to make it worst for Y/n every corner of JYP building has the picture of twice. y/n who still broken-hearted can't stand that so he quit to clear his mind

another reason was he wanted to take care of her mother who is sick at the time

one of his friends tell him to try to write a song about what is was feelings at the time thinking that it could ease y/n broken heart. he took that advice and surprisingly he feel calm when he wrote a song.

y/n started a youtube channel he is not ready to share his song with the world yet so he often covers a popular song. his youtube channel gained a lot of views and record labels took notice of that and offer y/n a contract that is how Y/n started his career as a soloist

"yn-ssi its time" the production crew told y/n

Y/n nodded and walked towards the recording room. he was starting to get used to this, being interviewed and getting a lot of attention but he still feels uncomfortable in that kind of situation sometimes. he saw a lot of people who were preparing for their radio interview, the PD-nim was in there too. the radio station is a big one, it has a lot of listeners, it is a good opportunity for yn-ssi to reach a bigger audience.

"Thank you for coming today, y/n! I'm so excited to have you here today. I know you're getting ready to release a brand new album, but before we get into that, I wanted to ask you a few questions about your decision to join JYP. I know you had an amazing career as a solo artist, but I'm sure you had a lot of success while you were with your former company."

Y/n nodded and took a deep breath. he knew this is going to be a long one, he just hope he can answer all the questions. he cleared his throat and began to answer the questions.

"I have been with my former company for almost 2 years. all I can say is thank you for having me for the past 2 years but these recent years I feel like I don't have enough freedom to choose what song do I write or release so I feel like this move to JYPE would benefit me"

The interview is last for an hour in between questions they would play songs that the listener requested. they talk a lot about what y/n is planning to do in the future and what is being a trainee like or just some simple fun fact about y/n one of the fun facts he shared was that he was like thunder. he felt calm and peaceful when he watches rain pouring down and thunder roaring in the distance

Before the show ends the interviewer asks one last question. "What inspires you to write such an emotional song?"

"When I was in the trainee, I felt heartbreak for the first time. I was with my girlfriend for almost two years and when she told me she was going to end it, I was so heartbroken I couldn't even move my body.

y/n took a deep breath and smiled. he would never thought this would be his answer to the question, but he knew that it will be the right one. he looked at the interviewer and started to speak.

"when a person you love the most hurt you, it makes you question yourself and your choices."

"do we know this person?" the interviewer asked. curious

"I can't say who is this person. she's with one of very successful grub now I fully understand why she broke up with me. it's not like we have other choices all I can say is that I'm happy she become the person she is today."
