it was Saturday evening that I got an email from the company telling me that I have a meeting on Monday morning. to discuss about a future project and plan. I continue to eating my ramyeon after reading that email.
I have not much to do after I quit the previous company. someday I just write a song or talk a walk with my manager at the park. my manager and I are quite close. i have known him even before I became an artist he's one of my best friends. I have a lot of friends when I was a trainee but I lost contact with most of them. because they cant interact with their friends freely anymore its sad that if you became an idol your life isn't yours anymore that is one of the reasons why I quit my dream to become an idol
before I went to bed I write down my idea about songs and my next album concept to be present in front of JYP on Monday. I have a lot of ideas I want my next album to be different from my previous one. I'm thinking about writing ballad songs with piano as an instrument but I don't know if the fans would like it.
I was taking a drink when someone texted her. i put the drink down and looked at the text. it was from Sana
Sana : "I heard you're going to the company building on Monday?"
Y/n : "how do you know what?. I just got the text an hour ago."
Sana : "hehe you know I gossip a lot"
out of many friends I have who I lost contact with Sana is the one who is still in touch with me. even sometimes we meet up for coffee. of course i told her not to tell Mina
at first I texted sana to ask how mina doing after we broke up. she always teased me about that now but at that time she was the one who always asked me how I was doing. we became pretty close after that
Y/n : "can you go with me tomorrow to introduce me to other artist, you know I'm a shy person plus I don't know where to go"
Sana : "Sure. but buy me a coffee first"
When I come to the company building on Monday Sana was already waiting in the lobby talking to her someone I think. I texted her this morning and asked her to meet me at 9 am
I wave at her I think she's in some Important conversation so thought I would wait for her to finish. I found a sofa that was currently vacant and sat down to wait for her.
after a while Sana came out of her conversation and walked toward me she wave at me and said
"Sorry to make you wait, I was just talking to one of trainee i practice with"
I"it's fine. I'm not in hurry anyway the meeting start at 10.30 so I have plenty time, should we go now?" I replied to her.
"Sure what do you want to know?"
"just show me around first I don't know where to go"
sana show me around the building and introduced me to a few people. the building changes a lot since I last visited it. there are a lot of new rooms and the furniture is no longer the same. they used the newest furniture to make things look more modern and comfortable to use.
"This room is probably the one you gonna used the most" Sana said opening the door to the recording room.
the inside is not very large but it has a lot of space. the wall is covered with soundproof foam and there are tables filled with different kinds of recording equipment.
after we finish looking around the building we went to the cafeteria to order the coffee that I promise her. the cafeteria is full of people sitting around eating and talking. there is a lot of young people around 16 years old probably there was a trainee here
after waiting for a while our coffee is arrived she ordered iced americano and I ordered a latte. I don't understand what people liked about iced americano I try once and I didn't like it.
"before you go. let's meet my members they were curious about you" Sana said as she drank her coffee.
"All of them?, is she also here?" I asked.
"who? Mina? of course she's here. I cant wait to see how you two would react when you meet each other again" she said launched into a laugh.
"Hajima" I said but she continue to laugh
I pay for the drink and leave the cafeteria. Sana says Twice is in the practice room practicing for their upcoming comeback. I followed her we took a lift to the 4th floor where the room is at
she open the door and lead me into the room. I saw they were all sitting down on the couch exhausted from practicing. Nayeon was sitting in the middle of the couch between Momo and jihyo. jeongyeon was laying on the floor chaeyoung tzuyu and dahyun is in the corner taking photo.
"sana where were you?, oh you brought someone" nayeon is the first to ask noticing me behind sana.
"Everyone meet Y/n our new soloist" Sana said a little bit too loud.
noticing me, they all gather up together and introduce themselves.
"annyeonghaseyo one in a million twice-himida" they said in unison.
after introducing ourselves to each other. we sit down and talk they asked me if i am also a producer or just a singer. I told them I am both. they asked me to sing a few of my songs. I refuse that and told them I'm not prepared. even with my popularity sometimes I felt shy to sing in front of people who actually know me. we talked for a while. when sana asked
"where Mina? I haven't seen her?"
"she says she left her phone with manager unnie, she left to picked it," Chaeyoung said
"Nayeon unnie, manager unnie say she need to tell you someth-" mina was saying something to nayeon when shes stop aware that I was there. our eyes met for a second. shes froze on her stop I also can't look away. it's been a long time since i last saw her. shes still looking the same. with the same beauty and her captive smiles.
