Kakashi then soften and eased his breathing to signal that he was ready to talk. His father, Sakumo snapped out of the cold, terrifying gaze he unintentionally gave to Kakashi. Kakashi didn't say anything at first which made Sakumo apologize because he probably scared him, but Kakashi didn't say anything to that either. He just looked down for a little bit before finally speaking.

"Father...I had a dream. Last night."

"Oh?" Sakumo was genuinely surprised at the discovery. Kakashi, came to him with tears in his eyes because of a dream?

He simply smiled at that, Kakashi his son, never really showed much emotion to him or anyone, so for him to be this straightforward with his feelings, emotions, was shocking.

However, Sakumo took advantage of this as a reason to get closer to him. After all, Kakashi has always been taking care of himself, Sakumo was never really there for him, but he tried to whenever he had the time to.

"Yeah. Stupid, right?" the young prodigy said with a scoff.

"Well, no. It's not stupid Kakashi. Dreams can show what you truly feel or desire. Fears too. So no, Kakashi. Your dream must have been really scary no?" Sakumo said with a soft smile.

Although Kakashi hated being talked down as if he was like any normal child, it was clear that Kakashi needed it right now. Even if, he won't admit it to himself or anyone else.

"What about possible futures. Does it show those too?" Sakumo was interested in his question, although dreams did show possible futures or your own thoughts sometimes showed what you would see from the past or in the near or far future, it was quite rare.

His question did concern him, and he might have to ask Inoichi about it. Anyways, he asked if the dream he saw felt real? Kakashi said yeah.

He also added that it was really scary, with his voice that began to crack. Sakumo suspected that it might have been a genjutsu but chose to listen to him first.

"Do you want to tell me what your dream was Kakashi?"

"Yeah...I think so. But can I drink first?" He asked as he looked away from his father with sad eyes. Sakumo nodded with a somber smile.

They went to the kitchen dining table, where Sakuma lays seated but before sitting down Kakashi went to the fridge to scavenge anything he could find. A bottle of cold water and some ice cream. He wasn't a fan of sweets, but he needs their help now.

They say a big scoop of ice cream could at least soften your depressing day without needing to get wasted. To be honest, they weren't wrong. It helped but alcohol is a lot more effective.

Sadly, he wasn't an adult, and if his dad found out his five-year-old son was found dead drunk in the pub that would damage his reputation. He would get a hard scolding from him.

Anyways, after he set down his bowl of chocolate chip and vanilla ice cream along with his glass of cold water, he finally sat down at the opposite side of the table. His father stared at him with an expectant, worried look.

"Dad...the dream I had, last night. Well, I-" he paused. His father didn't say anything as he patiently waited. Frankly speaking, Kakashi didn't know why he decided to open up to his father right after his transmigration.

He couldn't explain it, but even if he explained it to his father this way, the pains, and burdens he experienced now.

The fear and sadness of looking at his father, alive and well, not a dead corpse he found lying around in his living room. It felt terrifying to think about it. His father could commit suicide so easily.

He wanted to keep his father. He will keep him alive. He will make him stay. He will protect him in ways that are beyond his imagination. Even if he has to act cute or a child if that is enough to make him stay. To prevent him from killing himself, he will do it. It was his father after all.

There is no shame in doing it. He will also protect his friends from dying and his sensei in the future and in the present.

"In the dream, you asked me to go out to cut some wood. I did as you told me to, but when I was almost finished, I smelled blood. Thick blood at the direction of our household." he paused again.

"I knew why it smelled that way, but I couldn't help but hope that it wasn't like how I imagined it to be. When I got there, I-um." he paused as he chugged down the glass of cold water only to go back to the fridge to take out the jug and slam it on the table.

His ice cream began to melt, so he decided it finish that first before drinking the cold water. Once finished he poured the cold water into the glass before looking down again, but this time he was looking at his palms in horror and tears?

The acts he displayed just now showed anxiety, nervousness, fear, and sadness. 'Just what exactly did he see in his dreams?' Sakumo thought in despair and willowing worries. 'What made him so frightened he can't even speak clearly about it.'

"When I got there, I saw your dead body." he finalized as he drank some more. Sakumo's eyes widened, because of being surprised and because he was angry. The confirmation of it, being a possible genjutsu angered him more. 'This sick psycho is really pushing it.'

"Kakashi, what you saw was nothing more than a dream. It won't happen." he said as he tried to comfort Kakashi.

"And how do you know that?"

"Because I wouldn't give up my life for anything."

"And how are you so sure?"

"Because I have you, Kakashi." When he heard those words, Kakashi couldn't help but feel angry. The irony, the false hope, the pretty lies behind those words, it vexed him to the core. 'How could he say that when he leaves me anyway!' thought Kakashi as swirls of emotions slowly builds up inside. 'Just why? Why?! WHY?! How could you say something as ridiculous and cruel like that?' the sink began to leak, and the sink hole sucks in the water. When it finishes it goes down the torrent, but because there was something stuck in between the torrent and the exit. It swells and swells till it leaks.

When it continues to leak and leak, the cement that holds the sink up will crack and break. It will burst open like a tsunami. Kakashi's emotions is just like this sink. At a certain point, he will breakdown and he did.

"LIES!" yelled Kakashi as he stood up, slammed his hands on to the table almost breaking it, his chakra, emotions are out of control.

He begins to feel dizzy, his head pounded and it felt like his head was constantly being smashed by a metal pole, over and over again. He fell could barely hear his father's inaudible yells of worry as he topples to the ground.

He could feel his father's arms around him as he yells his name, but Kakashi could barely hang on, he passed out.

"Kakashi!"
