Snapping back to reality, Kakashi looked at her with clear surprise painted on his masked face. Most civilian children even genin's and young chunin's were too terrified to go near Orochimaru, much less converse with him. He did have a very villainous look to him, but he wasn't that bad. He was just weird.

Sakura going near him on her own accord warmed his heart a bit since most would judge a book by its covers. It was also one of the reasons why Orochimaru isn't considered a favorite among the three.

However, deep down, it scared him a bit that she would even go near him, he thought she would punch him in the first meeting and make him go rogue because of embarrassment or something.

Why he thought about this was beyond him.

Sakura looked like a docile, kind girl.

She would never punch anyone in the face for no apparent reason. Right? But who was he to judge, he barely even knew her.

Obito, Rin, and Minato saw that he was staring at the girl for a very long time. He hasn't even moved an inch since he saw her. Three different thoughts coursed through their brains.

First is Minato, who remarked that the description and physique were similar to the letter written by Sakumo, which meant that this was probably the girl.

Inoichi never really specified if he fell for a different girl before falling in love with the same girl.

He also said, that he never saw her face, which brought to the possibility that her face and voice were purposefully blurred and inaudible by his mind.

Second is Obito, he was only thinking of a way to use this information to his advantage. For example, rile up a bunch of his fangirls and extorts money out of them, but then he realized that doing that was stealing.

It won't look good on paper or during the Hokage selection candidate passed down by the future Hokage himself.

He then thought, of taking photographs of both of them together, making copies of the photographs in case Kakashi snatches them and incinerates them after showing them to him.

Use it as blackmail to force him to do things for him. It was cruel, but making Kakashi suffer was a show he would like to see because he made Rin fall for him and he hates him for it.

Last but not least, Rin. She saw the way Kakashi looked at her and came to the conclusion that he was probably in love with her. She was quite sad at the revelation because she tried to make Kakashi fall for her.

She thought he did, when he started to eat with her alone, advised her on some training tips, and encouraged her, but it was all because he saw her as a teammate. A friend. Not because he cared about her more than a friend.

Well, he did give a couple of hints that he wasn't interested in her, but she was too infatuated and focused on him to spot it. For example, there was a time when they went to a flower shop and Kakashi bought her flowers which meant 'Give up.' and 'Someone else is waiting for you.' Rin thought he didn't know what the flower signified.

Since this flower meant, move one or I'm not interested, but she didn't want to think too much of it. So like any other teenage girl in denial, she told him what it conveyed in flower language. He just stared at her for a couple of seconds before apologizing with his signature eye smile.

Rin thought it was odd that he didn't know what it meant when he memorized it last week. She thought there was a possibility he intended it, but she just brushed it off. Anyways, she wouldn't give up that easily, so she wanted to see who this girl was, and see what made her so interesting to the point of gaining Kakashi's attention.

After coming up with these conclusions, Minato decided to encourage Kakashi to meet her, so that he could approach her as well in a gentle, less obvious way.

Obito instantly agreed, because there was a camera store near the Dango shop so he could just make a quick purchase and take pics of them being together.

Rin, on the other hand, encouraged him as well and used this opportunity to meet her and see if she was worth Kakashi's attention.

From Kakashi's perspective, it looked suspicious. Minato, Obito, and RIN noticed his expression yet they encouraged him to meet her. Talk to her.

Dubious.

Minato probably did this, because Kakashi finally liked someone and wasn't aloof towards a girl's feelings.

Obito's probably happy that he liked someone and that someone wasn't Rin or he's just thinking of a way to use this for blackmail.

Rin. Now Rin looks most suspicious out of the three of them.

The Rin who refused to analyze the hints, the Rin who didn't back down even after he softly rejected her. Unless she finally got the gist? If that was the reason behind her actions, then is this her attempt of letting go?

If so, meeting Sakura was a good thing for him, since he managed to make Rin give up without making her sad. He cared a great deal about her, Rin was like a sister to him.

A sibling he didn't have, and besides Obito liked her, so to be in a relationship with Rin wouldn't sit right with him both ways.

Anyways, he nonchalantly walks up to the stand and greeted his former sensei. He needed to thank Orochimaru for being in the right place and time, or else he would have ordered sweets he wouldn't even eat.
