Meet The Trio

As we entered yet another stare down, his lips quirked up into another smirk, my eyebrows furrowed at the sight wondering why the hell hes noticing me now, nothing about me has changed. His eyes travelled down to my fishnet clad legs and slowly made their way back up, I watched as he pulled his bottom lip in between his teeth, lightly biting. His eyes connected with mine once more and he sent me another wink, I feel like my whole body's on fire, who knew that someone's gaze could get me all hot and bothered. We lost eye contact due to the fact that Austin smacked him upside the head to get his attention back. He wasn't being very discreet so its obvious they knew what he was doing. "How many times man, shes not supposed to know" Paxton bit out. Then realised that the hallway isn't actually that loud and I heard every word, this confused me though, not supposed to know what? Am I missing something?

Knox's eyes widened and he shouted at Paxton "shut up, man!"

I turned around to my locker, still in deep thought of what Paxton just said. Im not going to be asking him or Knox anytime soon what he meant. I don't know if I want to know. Probably another silly game they are playing.

I opened my locker and started collecting my books and putting my bag away, Keira and Odin doing the same in their lockers, all of us must have the same look of confusion as to what just happened, they both look deep in thought.

"Knox baby!" I hear a squeaky voice shout from down the hall. None other than Tiffany, the queen of the trios, AKA the trio of bullies. Tiffany is also head cheerleader, she would be pretty if she didn't wear tons of makeup and skimpy clothes. I watch her as she struts down the hall towards Knox, clearly using her assets for attention and by assets I mean fake boobs, its no secret she had them done over the summer.

Knox groans at the sound then turns to give her a smile, it doesnt take a genius to realise its fake, but she doesnt even see it. I see him glance in my direction as she flings her arms around his neck giving him a hug. Her back is now to me and his eyes flicker to mine with a pained expression on his face. I dont understand any of today.

I roll my eyes and grab Odin and Keira by the arms dragging them away from the godawful sight of Tiffany.

"Hey nerds, where do you think youre going?" I internally cringe at the sound of Brittanys voice. Brittany, Bitch no.2, second in command to the lovely Tiffany over there.

"Yeah, running off to the library again, nerds?" Madison says with a chuckle. Madison is Bitch No.3, and also sister to Paxton.

"Come on guys" Paxton groans "leave them be"

Me, Keira and Odin all stop and turn to look at them all, Brittany sidling up to Paxton, trailing her hand down his chest, "nah they deserve all the shit they get, shouldnt be nerds should they?" she says with a laugh.

"Just leave us alone, Brittany" Odin huffs out. Were all getting sick of the shit they give us. We dont understand why they do it, its probably so they can just bully someone.

By now Knox and Austin are watching with interest, me and Keira side glance at each other, this is new, never have one of us said anything to them. Paxton is looking over at Odin with a proud expression, what?

Odin and Paxton share a look with each other, and it dawns on me whats happening, Are they friends? Hes never interacted with any of us before. So much confusion today.

"Oh, the nerds got a mouth, biting back now are we?" Tiffany scowls, the surprise disappearing quickly off of her face.

I can feel the anger building up inside me, this is a bad situation, I have enough at home, then I get these barbies giving us grief at school as well.

"Id keep your mouths shut if I were you, idiots!" Brittany bites out, although confusion is written on her face. Not to be nasty, but she isnt the most intelligent.

"Oh, for gods sake, can you just quit it? Im sick and tired of listening to you all, Im fed up with all your fucking shit, just leave us the hell alone" I bark out. Its out before I can stop myself and I already know this isnt good. I just shouted at the trio. They guys Im not too bothered about because Paxton had the decency to stick up for us, ish.

Beside me Keira lets out a squeak and I realise the mistake. Tiffany, Brittany and Madison are now moving towards us, circling the three of us while Knox, Paxton and Austin are all sharing the same look of shock, yeah I know what I did.

"Ooo Scars got some balls, finally sticking up for you and your little friends? How long has it taken you? 4 years?" Tiffany says, stepping right in front of me, slight smirk on her face, probably knowing Im shitting myself right now.

I keep what Im hoping is a blank expression on my face, meeting her gaze. "Leave us alone" finding my voice that I thought would betray me.

I hear gasps all around and realise weve now gained ourselves an audience. I can feel Keira trembling beside me, and I think its time to go. I turn on my heel and reach out to grab both Keira and Odin. I see the astonished expressions on their faces to what had just happened. Without a glance behind I start to walk away only to be pulled back roughly by my arm.

"Not so fast, nerd, Im not done with you yet" Tiffany squeaks out.

"Too right" Brittany and Madison say in sync.

As I glance behind the girls I can see all three boys, Paxton is nudging Austin out of the way to get to Knox. As I look towards Knox I see that he is looking very angry, is he angry that Tiffany pulled me back or that I stood up to her?

I look back towards Tiffanys fuming face and smile "I suggest you take your hand off of my arm" I calmly say to her.

"Or what? You gonna hit me nerd?" she laughs, looking towards Brittany and Madison. They all laugh at her comment. "Ill kill you, nerd" directing her gaze back to me, I see her fist raised, I know shes going to hit me, it no longer hurts. Im just surprised shes going to do it in front of everyone this time. The thing about the trios beatings, they dont like to do it with witnesses.

I lower my head slightly, bracing myself for the hit, expecting her fist to come flying at my face, instead I hear gasps echoing round the hall. I raise my head to see Knox standing right in front of me holding Tiffanys raised fist. I cannot see Knoxs face, but I can definitely see the shock and surprise on Tiffanys.

"Thats enough Tiffany!" Knox grits out. "Scar, leave with your friends we will talk soon."

I spin on my heel and grab both Keira and Odin, we run down the hall towards the library, yeah I know Tiffany and her cronies were right, to hear a squeal from behind then Knox, "why the hell would you stop me, that little bitch deserves it!"

"No, actually she doesnt, leave it be Tiffany. Leave them alone or were done" Knox shouts.

"What no! you cant seriously be sticking up for..." Tiffany trails off as we head into the library.
