THIRD

As she came out of her room, Loki couldn't help but look at the girl, more or less sa suot nitong sando and short shorts, at kulay pink pa. And what's with the 'pamaypay' she's holding?

There's no problem if she wore that but then he noticed that it was too short. Her navel and thighs were already visible. Good thing there's only two of them and they don't expect any visitors to come.

Hindi naman sobrang iksi ng shorts nito, sapat lang para makita ang kalahati ng hita nito pero kung ibang lalaki lang siguro 'yun ay malamang na palihim na siyang binobosohan at pinagnanasahan sa kanilang isip. Nakakapagtataka lang na hindi siya nagsusuot ng ganoong klaseng damit yet she chose to wore that piece of cloth.

When he greeted her good morning scratch that, 'morning' lang pala. She was even surprised when he was the one who initiated the greeting. Well, he takes that as a compliment. Usually the girl is always the first to greet and he always just nods in response. He rarely greeted back when he's in a good mood. Obviously, now we all know what's the answer.

The girl returned the greeting and walked passed him and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

Soon, he stopped reading when he heard a noise coming from the dining room, or more likely jumping based on the sound of its slipper. He got up to his feet and went to where the sound came from.

"There you are." the boy whispered. There he saw Lorelei trying to reach a container of sugar on the higher part of the cupboard. She even tried tiptoeing and ended up jumping but to her dismay, it was still too high. Malamang ay magpe-prepare siya ng juice.

Every time she reaches her target, the hem of her sando accidentally slids up so the boy has the access to see the woman's waist from behind. His face turned into a crimson color at the sight of seeing his roommate in that position.

"Tsk."

He shrugged and averted his gaze to other direction before taking his way in front of the cabinet and took the sugar.

The girl stopped when someone took it for her. Prente lang siyang nakatayo sa likod nito as if he didn't even had a hard time reaching it. She could feel his hot breath on her nape. But she stood still.

"Here." aniya. Still standing in front of her. Handing the sugar to her.

"You can call me if you can't reach it, hindi yung kung ano-anong ginagawa mo diyan." he added.

'Wow! Sorry ah! Kasalanan ko ba kung mataas yan!?' she said at the back of her mind.

"Abot ko talaga 'yan eh, it's just too high." pagdadahilan nito. Naisipan niyang rin alokin ito ng juice. "You want some juice too? Titimplahan din kita." she added.

"Hhmm." he hums in response and nodded then went back to the living room.

Thereafter, sa pitsel na siya nagtimpla ng juice dahil pumayag na rin namang magpatimpla si Loki. He also probably couldn't cope up due to the extreme heat of the weather. Right now, they need to relieve the heat by drinking cold drinks like tubig na malamig pero gusto niyang may lasa ang kanyang iniinom so she decided to prepare orange juice instead.

Pagpunta sa sala, naabutan ito ng dalaga na nagbabasa na naman ng libro. Lorelei placed a pitcher of orange juice on the small table and went back to the kitchen to get two glasses that she and Loki will use. She poured the juice into each glass. Loki took it with his dominant hand and gulped, while the non-dominant hand held the book he's reading.

Lorelei, on the other hand, explicitly sipped it immediately right after she poured the glass or more accurately, chugged it in just one drink. As in tinungga niya sa isang inuman lang. Her repeated gulp was audible for the boy to hear. The cold and sourness of it also immediately drew in their throats, which somehow temporarily relieved the heat they were feeling.

"Aahhh!!" Lorelei seemed relieved sa nainom niya. She also seem to be gasping for breath at its excessive length.

She even licked the side of her lip as if savoring the taste of the remaining juice. Loki couldn't help but laughed at the back of his mind when he saw that there was still a trace of orange juice on the upper part of her lip even though she licked it thrice. Yes, him being an observant, he saw it with his two eyes. Tsh! Parang bata.

"Whoa! Thirsty huh!" Loki said. Shock was evident in his voice.

Napatingin si Lorelei sa lalaking nagsalita. Kaya pala pakiramdam niya parang may nag-o-obserba sa kanya.

"Can't you blame me ang init kaya." the girl said while refilling another juice. "Ikaw nga naka-ganyan pa eh!" she added pointing at his long pj's.

Nakaka-tatlong basong juice na si Lorelei while Loki on the other hand ay kalahati pa lang. For the fourth time, the former was about to refill another glass of juice but the latter stopped her.

"Hey! That's too much, you haven't eat anything yet." pigil niya.

A/N: The next part doesn't have a tentative date yet. Inatake na naman ako ng writer's block kaya medyo matatagalan na naman bago magkaroon ng katuloy ito. But I'll still write basta may pumasok na idea. Magpo-post pa din ako sa twitter ng mga short AU's. Sa ngayon wala munang next part 'to.
