BEEP BEEP BEEP went Scarlet's alarm. Time for school again. She heaved herself out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. As she looked at herself in the mirror she thought why she even bothered to do this everyday. When she had got dressed she slowly walked downstairs wondering what was going to happen to her at school today. Was Amanda going to try something again? "I really hope not" Scarlett thought.
"Hello love." said her mum "you ok, you're looking a little pale?". "I'm fine." replied Scarlett, a little too quickly. Scarlett's mum was the kind of woman who was always happy. No matter what was happening she was happy. That was what Scarlett most liked about her, that even if she was having the worst day of her life, her mum would be able to cheer her up.
After a quick bowl of cereal, a cup of tea and one episode of "pointless", Scarlett set off for school, hoping that she wouldn't bump into Amanda on the way...
