On the drive to school Scarlett couldn't help but think about everyone at school teasing her. Especially Amanda. Her nails were bitten till they were stubs. Her eyes looking as if they were going to well up at any time. She was dressed in her usual blue uniform, her black rucksack by her side. Her flaming hair hung loose around her face, covering her emerald eyes. She looked at the time on her phone. 8:00. In 5 minutes she would be at school, preparing to face Amanda for the first time in weeks. She was dreading it. Not only would she be the girl on crutches but she would be the girl with bright red hair, on crutches, that couldn't talk. Amanda would make sure the whole school would make fun of her. Today was going to be the first of many nightmares. Suddenly the car stopped. Scarlett looked out the window and saw her school gates looming over her. They had arrived. Her mum opened the door and helped Scarlett out of the car. She put her arms in her crutches and her bag on her back. Scarlett smiled at her gratefully, trying to look pleased to be back at school.
"Don't worry darling, everything will be fine," her mum said. But Scarlett knew that she had to worry and nothing would be fine. She turned around and started walking into the school...

Scarlett's POV
As I struggled to walk in school I could see everyone's eyes looking and staring at me. I bent my head down, my hair covering my face, avoiding eye contact with anyone. I carried on like this when suddenly I saw a perfect pair of black patent shoes on the floor in front of me. I slowly started to look up. I saw a perfectly ironed black pleated skirt, a perfect crystal white shirt, a perfectly clean blue blazer and perfectly straightened blonde hair. Amanda. I attempted to move my crutches around her but she moved the same way as me so she stood directly in front of me once again. I didn't know what to do.
"Hi Scarlett," she said in her sickening voice. "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?!". I looked up at her, her face was gleaming, her eyes lit up, her smug grin across her face. Everyone else around her laughed. They were laughing at me. She bent down and looked directly at my face, I could feel tears pricking my eyes.
"I asked what's the matter Scarlett?!" she cackled. I looked down at the floor, begging for this to be over. All I could hear was laughter. I turned around and slowly struggled to walk off. But before I could get anywhere her minions were in front of me, laughing. I turned again to only found Amanda standing in my way. I was trapped. Tears ran down my face, the world a blur. Suddenly I fell to the ground, the contents of my bag spilling onto the floor. She had pushed me over. I tried to get back up but I couldn't, my casted leg weighing me down. I wiped the tears away from my eyes only to see Amanda standing over me, laughing her head off. I put my head in my hands, begging for someone to save me from this nightmare, begging for it to be over. But nothing happened. I couldn't breathe, the anxiety suffocating me. My ears filled with the cackles and shrieks of the bullies, not to mention everyone else in the entire school. Suddenly I felt my head hit the ground and it all went black...
