WHEN ARRIVING TO THE crime scene, the group of friends were shocked to find Nancy Wheeler standing before the police, who seemed to be throwing several questions at her. The girl looked to be extremely disturbed by the incident, and when talking to the police, she couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of guilt. It wasn't until her eyes trailed off that she noticed the group standing a short distance away. At the sight, Nancy Wheeler sent a small wave to the group, feeling an immense amount of relief wash over her.

Driving over to Forest Hills Trailer Park, the friends sat together at a nearby picnic table while they listened to Nancy Wheeler explain what had happened. Yesterday night, Fred Benson had joined Nancy Wheeler to investigate the area where Chrissy Cunningham was murdered. While Nancy was speaking to Wayne Munson, Eddie's uncle, Fred suddenly disappeared. It wasn't until this morning that the police had found his body, which was contorted gruesomely — the exact same way Chrissy's was.

"There's no other explanation for this," Dustin Henderson began. "We all know who's behind this."

"You're suggesting that this thing that killed Fred and Chrissy, it's from the Upside Down?" Nancy Wheeler asked.

"Guys, think about it," Cassie Harrington spoke up, folding her hands together on the picnic table. "When has anything like this ever not been from the Upside Down?"

"She's got a point," Mike Wheeler agreed with a nod. "It has to be."

"Our working theory is that he attacks with a spell..." Dustin explained. "Now, whether or not he's doing the bidding of the Mind Flayer, or he just loves killing teens, we don't know."

"It just doesn't make any sense, Fred and Chrissy, I mean...why them?" Nancy questioned.

"Maybe they were just in the wrong place,"

"They were both at the game..."

"And near the trailer park..."

Looking around, Steve Harrington nervously gulped, "We're at the trailer park."

"Uh, should we maybe not be here?" Cassie Harrington began, skeptically looking around. "I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to end up all...you know..."

Sticking her tongue out, the girl clutched her chest and pretended to snap her bones in all different directions. With a final breath, Cassie Harrington then fell toward the surface, landing stiffly on the picnic table.

"Thank you for that extremely vivid image, Cassie," Steve exclaimed, rolling his eyes at his little sister.

"Alright, alright," Mike Wheeler spoke, pulling the girl back up to a seated position. "Let's hope that doesn't happen. I don't know what I'd do with myself if I lost you."
