WITH THE SUMMER OF 85' FINALLY ARRIVING, the party couldn't be more excited to spend their time freely with no worries in the world. No more school assignments, no more waking up early, no more exams. This summer, all they wanted to do is relax and have fun.
As for Mike and Cassie, they were hoping this would be the summer of love. That's how it started, at least. But, their plans fall short as their views begin to change, causing a sudden lack of trust in one another. Cassie then turns to the girls of the group, bringing the three of them closer than ever.
In reality, not many big things have changed since the incident in the fall of 1983, to which Eleven got rid of the evil Mind Flayer for good. Or so she thought.
Just as soon as everything started to get better, things took a massive turn for the worse. With news of rats, missing people, broken magnets, evil Russians, and more, everyone begins to investigate. It is then the group begins to split apart, distancing themselves away from one another. Although, despite their distance, each of them soon begins to figure out what exactly is going on. More importantly, how they are going to stop it.
But then again, what they find is the most dangerous, most life threatening thing they have ever seen. If they don't stop it, what they find can and will kill them all.
