Loud music could be heard in the middle of the woods. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon.
The 6 best friends Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna, Kelsey and Spencer sat in their secret shed to discuss their first week of High school.
"I can't believe that I really did it" Emily said happily referring to her swim tryouts and that she made it in the team of the Rosewood sharks. Kelsey who sat beside her put a hand on Emily's shoulder who promptly turned to the side to face her friend. "I knew you would do it Emmy. You swim as fast as a mermaid. They would be stupid to not let you in their team". Kelsey announced with a proud smile on her face making Emily blush at the compliment.
Alison who sat on the floor before Kelsey nodded as she spoke "I'm really proud of you, Em". She glanced at each of her friends before she continued. "We all are right girls?" Hanna who was currently eating a froyo she got before they were going to the shed nodded her head in agreement. Spencer who was currently studying for a history test she had on Monday looked up from her book before she spoke "Do you think Kat and i make it in the Field hockey team?" she asked her friends referring to the tryouts that are on Wednesday.
Aria who was painting her nails with black nail polish pushed a strand of her pink hair behind her ear before handing the small bottle to her ginger haired best friend. "Oh right aren't the tryouts next week?" She asked the smartest one of the group. "On Wednesday " Kelsey answered while painting her nails.
Emily got up from the sofa beside her as she spoke "I can come to the tryouts to cheer you both on." She glanced at her friends before she spoke again "We all should"
Alison who got up from the floor to change the song on her phone spoke up "then it's settled Wednesday after school we met at my locker and all go together to the Field." She announced.
Kelsey got abruptly up from her spot on the sofa and with a 'crap' she quickly gathered all her things into her backpack after glancing at the time on her phone.
Spencer who watched her confused was the first to speak up "What's wrong, Kat?" She asked the panicked girl confused. "I was supposed to meet with my dad at the police station for dinner like now and I don't even have the food yet." She answered quickly while dealing her dad's number on her phone. She even faster ran out of the shed while shouting a 'see you on Monday in school'.
Her dad answered the call after the second ring. "Sweetheart where are you? Is everything okay?" His worried voice rung in Kelsey's ear. "Sorry, daddy, I totally forgot the time I'm on my way to the apple rose grille now what can I get for you?" She asked slightly out of breath do to her running through the woods. "Calm down Sweetheart it's okay if you are a bit late. Don't stress yourself. You can get me my usual and a big mug of coffee I really need it. I have still a lot of work to do."
