A few days later
Kelsey and Spencer exited the French class they just had together to meet with their friends at Alison's locker.
As they reached said locker and they made their way in the cafeteria Kelsey spoke up " Do you guys think I'm still able to drop my Spanish class? I'm all alone in there and the language is really not that easy. In French I have at least Spence to help me." She said while looking at her smart friend.
"I don't think you should, Kat. It is really looking better on your college application if you take two foreign language classes. " Spencer said taking a lot of classes herself for that reason.
Kelsey took Spencers advice with a sour look on her face as they queued in the cafeteria. She decided on an orange juice, a salad without dressing and an apple for her lunch. They took their usual table and ate their lunch while having some smalltalk.
"You really want to eat all of that Han?" Alison asked Hanna as she eyed the blonde's tray. The girl had a lightly hurt expression on her face because she already was insecure about her weight.
"Seriously, Ali?" Spencer asked as she took a bite from her apple. "What Spence? She already is chubby I'm just being her friend." The conversation was cut short when Elena Gilbert cleared her throat behind Alison making the girls look at her. Kelsey who was picking with her fork at her salad not really hungry looked up with an questonly look on her face.
"Hey can I seat with you?" She asked referring to the empty seat beside Emily. Alison rolled her eyes annoyed at the girl before saying " Sorry but we have no free seat" she put her purse on the previously free spot hoping the girl would just leave.
"Don't you have any friends?" She asked her with a fake sad look on her face.
Elena swallowed the lump in her throat before stuttering "I-I do but I can't f-find them."Alison scoffed and just ignored Elena and started to talk as if she wasn't even there. Elena looked at her twin who mouthed a 'sorry' and made her way out of the cafeteria after throwing her food in the trash bin.
"Was that really necessary, Ali?" Kelsey asked her best friend. " What she is annoying as hell" Alison responded as the school bell rang announcing that lunch was over. Kelsey got up and emptied the rest of her salad in the trash and exited the cafeteria.
She came to a stop in front of a vending machine and got out her wallet to buy a black coffee.
She sipped the liquid while making her way quickly to her locker to get her chemistry book before she walked to the class she had like her Spanish class yet again without one of her friends.
As she got into the classroom she threw the now empty paper cup into the trash bin while peering trough the room for an hopefully empty table.
She found one in the back and sat down as more and more students came in the room and took their places on the other tables. Kelsey was glad that no one took the free spot beside her.
